Well today's strikers are very smart... that's why many professional goalkeepers including the top ones concede far too many goals OVER the top of them because of trying to narrow the angles. To be a Top Keeper one needs to aquire great athletism to be able to afford to broaden the angles that will increase distance, that enhances better decision making and crucially timing. Possessing great athletism is a huge edge and it goes along way in breaking the rule book. Making the Impossible look like a walk in the park will be the trademark 👽

That will be a block, not a grab . A block allows for a change of rebound. also shots are generally not shot straight , forwards give a swerve from outside so as aiming the ball travel around and behind your hands . Messi does it to the highest level, but many good forwards can do this swerve at a certain percentage.
