My first new guitar was a 1977 Ibanez Artist 2618. This was the earlier version of your Artist with some factory differences. Long story short... that guitar ultimately led to me owning my own guitar repair shop for 47 years now.
That nut file set (the one that folds into the blue handle) is actually a set of cleaning needles for oxyacetylene welding torches. Works as a nut file set too though, I have used one just for that.
I bought one just recently. Seems very flimsy, even the blue metal case is very tinny and light. But if it does the job even once! I mean how often are you gonna be nut filing anyway!
@@jokermaan1 exactly! I’m going to use this flimsy one to learn on. And getter better stuff as I learn my way around. It’s been said that this one isn’t even a nut file but it does double for that purpose
I've bought two of their effects pedals so far and a three-jack daisy chain pedal power cable splitter and a multi-color six-piece pedal connector pack. The pedals are really small but work really well so far. One is called American Dream distortion, and the other is a mini delay pedal. Everything works as advertised and cheap. The most expensive item was the delay pedal at $23, distortion pedal at $18. All items came up to less than $35. I'm impress so far with Temu.
My trick with TEMU is to leave some pedals in my cart but don’t buy them. Eventually they’ll offer a additional discount on an item in your cart (their choice). I got one pedal for under $8 that way. It takes patience tho
I use those acoustic Guitar strap stings for Low E String Resonance dampers. Put a couple of loops around the low E string up by the nut and it prevents the E String from vibrating from Harmonics.
There are watches all over Temu just as sharp as a Swatch, for like 3 dollars. Idk why I keep forgetting to order one on payday lol. I’ve ordered about a dozen cheap stompboxes of different types off Temu so far, and I haven’t been disappointed with a single one so far. In fact, I’ll typically be shocked because of how good they are, and all I paid was 20, maybe 35 bucks. And they’re brands I’ve never even heard of, like “Iset”, “Movall” etc
@@gwugluud I will be reviewing a Movall soon. I’m glad you’re getting your money’s worth. I have a ton of fun ordering stuff and seeing what is a keeper. The price is so low. It’s OK if there’s a stinker once in a while.
I just started ordering stuff from Temu, including guitar accessories. Very cheap for things like the action measuring ruler. Mine's metal and seems fine. How can something with no moving parts go wrong!
Very Cool, Thankyou. Cool Haul. I have only recently discovered Temu and have received some awesome Guitar Tech Accessories and other products all free Shipping to Australia. Awesome. Everything has been awesome and affordable. Love all The "Bling" Necklaces and Bracelets my Kids will go 'sick' for those, must go find them, lol. All the Best. Cheers
I bought two good straps, and lots of knockoff straplocks! Every guitar I own (including the many chinese knockoffs that I've experimented on) has straplock buttons. Edit two i also just bought a Joyo British Sound pedal, and its pretty great. Im gonna try a couple more of their cheap pedals. The enclosure is nice, and worst case, i can gut it and build a buzzfuzz or something inside the shell. Also, i had a Green Blazer for a while, it was an epic guitar. So much sustain! Mine was a hard tail though? And i think it had a modded treble boost pull pot. I got it second hand, and swapped it for a pile of 1970s japanese offset body guitars (Profile, Samick, Squire, 6 disassembled guitars with dimazio, lace sensor, emg, aeymor duncan pickups in the box, but i did have to do a lot of wiring, fret leveling, some gluing and snapped headstocks) that were incomplete projects, which I rebuilt and finished and then sold for enough money bought a Mesa Triple Rectifier and a pair of 4x12 Cabs that currently live in my frienda studio because no-one can afford to buy them from me, and they're too loud to play through! Plus i use so much software these days, its so flexible. Cant wait to see the microphone video, ive been tempted to buy those SM57s and 55s that they advertise for like $15, i know they're probably bootlegs, but i still want to play with one or two!
I blooped you. That sounded weird. Anyway, I have a bunch of "U87s" in my shopping cart. At ~ $30 apiece, I'm willing to give it a shot, but I could not find your review video. If you have yet to shoot said U87 video, would you give these a thumbs-up or -down, at that pricepoint? Thanks for the great reviews and information.
I haven’t shot the review yet but that mic is totally worth $30. At worst it’d be great for live-streaming. I’m looking forward to giving it a side by side test with several sound sources.
Most the Temu stuff is hit or miss.....the fret files were a great deal...especially the fret end file on a block wood. The regular nut slot files were good....not the junk files....these are regular nut files. The 10 band Eq is good to get rid of the piezio quack/icy sound for an acoustic....the 16k slider does the trick. Wireless guitar stuff is mostly junk. The small sanding blocks are a good deal. Strap locks are good. Use them all the time. Nut files that you got are junk
Maybe you don't care, but last Halloween, Temu was using young children in their advertising to promote pornographic Halloween costumes. These were reeeally obscene and these children were probably less than 10 years old. Not only will I never buy from Temu, I am unsubscribing from anyone on You Tube who promotes them.
Has anyone actually the patience to scroll through the badly described crap on Temu looking for anything useful?? Waste of space and time in my opinion 💩

Wow! Great story. That guitar played a role in changing both our lives. I still record on mine. But it’s too heavy for gigs lol

Interesting.
Well, I just learned something. Thank you.

Please do NOT buy or plug any! A million Uigur Muslims are imprisoned and used as slave labor. Is this your values- cheap pedals?@@MartinBlasick
Feeding the CCP by buying products made by slave labor- that's your American Dream Pedal.
They do have a strap on there that is a locking strap built into the strap and they are very good I've had one for years
I’ve been having luck on there too
I only started learning how to play the guitar about six weeks ago & I'm documenting my entire journey on here so watching this was super interesting!
Well, that sounds cool! I subbed to help you get it going. Let’s have fun here on TH-cam, and in real life with guitars.
I use those acoustic Guitar strap stings for Low E String Resonance dampers. Put a couple of loops around the low E string up by the nut and it prevents the E String from vibrating from Harmonics.
That’s a slick idea.

The “nut file kit” is actually a carburettor cleaning tool. It’s for cleaning out the jets.
Good video

I use the plastic action measuring ruler from the haul regularly.
@5:50 those are welding tip cleaners. LOL.

Hey there in the Down Under. Yeah I’m already putting more stuff in the cart myself. Did you get your kids a guitar yet?

Cool beans. I’m still going to do the U87 mic demo.
man this guy is so awesome
YOU are awesome. Thanks friend.
UK November 23. I got a 38” guitar case for $7. and no postage here.
Boycott slave labor produced goods.

Thanks for the heads up on the wireless.
Boycott China. Free all slaves.
With all that jewelry you could try and start a band and have all the members wear all those necklaces and wristbands. Name the band Metrosexual.
lol I’ll never fit on as much jewelry as the style icons like Johnny Depp. He drapes on heaps of bracelets and necklaces. Rock n Roll!!
Great fun video! Earned you a like and sub.
Rock on! 👍🛎😎
Thank you. Welcome aboard. More to come
A small file is handy...
I was trying to use a nail file, so I really needed it.
