Honestly The ARK could have been a secret unlockable stage in the Advance games and it would have worked really well. A part of me wishes the Rush games used sprites instead of 3D models, like it did in the beta or in the credits. Something about the Advance sprites really captures the Adventure era’s style to a T. This remix feels right at home in SA3, to the point it could be added to the Advance remake project without feeling out of place. It helps that it’s using Cyber Track as a base to work from, but that doesn’t do the work put in justice. It has a different feel when compared to the original used in Shadow Generations. But that just adds to it’s charm, and a part of me wishes the team decided to use the Advance games for inspiration when it came to the Act 2 remixes, like how the Genesis games were used for Classic Sonic’s remixes. Since the Advance games are essentially Shadow’s 2D equivalents, granted he was only playable in Battle, but they’re all connected so it still fits. Not to mention they’re both from the same era.
