Hi guys, just wanna ask, is this kit easy-to-tuned?? cause my room quite big but doesn't have a proper accoustic-treatment. So, i just try to find a drumkit that has short-sustain, warm-dark character, and easy-to-tuned. Any suggestion?? Thanks for your help btw 😊

Robert Devoy When you get time, check this guy out, he demonstrates them. ....great sound, they have a concert Tom kind of sound, and a wet sound....very nice sound indeed...plus the drums have some tuning special rims, which makes the drums very easy to tune.
@@Jetty-me6cw I fell in love with gretsch when I heard Stanton more some time ago. Then a budy of mine bought a blackhawk kit. He stripped the rap off and refinished it. Sounds great. Great big fat open tone. And t a e dude in this video is out of this world.
I confess i watch these vids just to hear you play lol. This kit does sound great but it seriously reinforces my dislike of the fusion+ sizing and 10" rack toms in general.
catalina models source wood from asia whereas the renown are north american maple ... pretty sure catalina use triple flange whereas renown uses diecast hoops
for my this rn1 is better than dw perfomance, pearl masters and tama starclassic perfomer bb. killer sound!!!! awesome

These are the lower cost Gretsch line which I believe are made in China.

Between these two videos I still can’t see the real difference between the Renown and the Catalina line. Same shells, different hardware??

All heads on tom toms and snare are Remo Ambassador coated, factory head Powerstroke 3 on the bass drum.
this is a low to midrange kit but he makes it sound like a high end kit
Renowns are high mid range drums. Plenty of pros tour/record with these.
