It's worth noting Frusciante has an extensive pedal board and synth/filter setup, both in the studio and live. His tone post BSSM is very rarely, if ever, guitar straight into amp. He also rides his volume and tone knobs a lot. A good compressor pedal goes a long way in making Frusciantes amp settings sound more like his actual record and live tones.

Frusciante’s tone could do with some overdrive. Not distortion. You want the gain cranked up to the point where it starts to break up and then either leave it or dial it back a little so you still have that thick overdriven texture/tone if you really go hard on the attack.

In no world is all the treble with no beef, considered "solid foundation"
    Especially since
    A. These aren't confirmed settings of any amp any of these people used
And b. Even if they were you need the same EXACT amp each used to match
Also we KNOW you're bypassing the amp behind you and instead running into tone shaping software like Bias effects or something
Because EQ doesn't work the way this video would imply. And it's impossible to get all of these from JUST changing the EQ knobs.
That's why the KEMPER is popular
    That's why BIAS is popular
    That's why archetypes are popular
Because they're digital solutions to the issue of needing multiple amplifiers to recreate so many tones
A marshal and a fender don't sound the same
A boss and a dumble don't sound the same
    Etc etc etc
Please stop lying to the guitar newbies.
Hendrix played on an amp with scooped mids (naturally) even though he maxed all his tone knobs
Clapton had his mids set lower because his amp naturally BOOSTED mids
That's why Clapton sounds like he has more mids than Hendrix
But yet according to your video here Hendrix had all the mids and Clapton had like none.

every decade at least once. Nothing new since the 90s.
Also this kid has got a whole lot of brilliance and talent and know how to go with his deep for his age culture(at least on electric guitar)

Another one of these shitty amp settings videos when there's zero context. If I use those those settings on my Marshall it gives me anywhere from ACDC to death metal tone, throwing numbers out there doesn't mean you'll sound like Jimi Hendrix on any amp

      The Bible is truth. Please read at least three books of the Bible, Genesis Mathew and one you chose yourself. As you do practice forgiveness, that’s what makes it click. Parents are easiest. They’ve loved you to some degree. It’s actually extremely important to forgive them specifically, that relationship has spiritual significance to God. Remember to break down before Jesus Christ and ask for forgiveness too. Please, it’s really important that you do these things as soon as possible. The Bible is truth;

I believe that frusciante's tone doesn't use the treble that much, I believe his settings were something like: treb 3 mid 5 bass 6. At least that's what I've read. Then he cranks up the volume to get more treble and also get some distortion.

My go to starting setting is the "Ace Freely" method. Put everything on five or in his words "at noon". Then I go from there. I usually put my treble at 7 or 7. My mids around 6 and my bass from 3 to 5. I like my "swamp tone" lol

Hey where'd you have the gain/vol knobs? Top notch content man! Boutta spend the next couple hours testing out each one and trying to learn some of those riffs. My amp's got a similar set of tubes and 12" celestion to an AC15, I'm just curious how vol/gain on mine compares to what you used on that Fender amp

Sometimes I know you're often wondering if Hendrix ever had a problem with his speakers blowing up when he cranked everything up to 10? Given early martial amplifiers from the 60s were not really well-known to handle so much power at once. May take a look at what was made by Vox Granted those ones literally actually caught fire When they get overloaded with so much distortion

actually fun fact, Frusciante runs his amps with the bass knob on 10, and everything else around 3/4, its just a heavily compressed tone leading to an illusion of high treble

I think Eric Claptons cream era woman tone is the best sounding although Hendrix might have my favorite tone but I think it was more the way he handled the guitar than his gear. The chord voicings he would use and the way he would play them.
