    I absolutely love this part of the interview. Im starting to notice more Black women dating and marrying outside there race. A dear friend who is a Black woman only dates white men and she told me its because Black men do not respect what Black women do for them. David Banner hit it on the nose. notable blacks do not take a stand they become a part of the problem
    Kanye West song "all falls down" he said "they made us love their wealth and hate ourselves" And he goes off and marrys 1 ( no shade im just saying)
    Making profound statements have to be backed up by action. show me dont tell me.

      There are people in BLM that really have a heart for our people but history in this country has always shown our movements infiltrated by the government.

      I don't think that the BLM movement was infiltrated. The founders were selected and funded by "the establishment" to carry out their agenda:
      1) Pro LBGT agenda
      2) Link Black youth with terrorism/terrorist activity
      3) Fame/following of BLM leadership as neo-civil rights leaders
      4) Pro-feminist & Anti-paternal philosophy
      BLACK PEOPLE:
      Stay away from this movement!! It is meant to further destroy and destabilize Black America and its image.

      We are for the most part saying the same thing. There are some young people in the BLM movement who wholeheartedly feel they are getting their voices out to the masses on behalf of their people.

    Idc if you're light-skinned or darkskinned, black people are black and 2pacs first 2 lines in Keep Ya Head Up are real but I hate the light/dark skin thing. It just has black people fighting each other and it isn't an American thing. It's a global problem because Africans were not only shipped to America. There are people in other countries who treat lighter skinned children better than others but growing up there was no light skinned or darkskinned, we were all black. Even half blacks will say they are black but some identify themselves based on how others treat them. J. Cole is half white but he says the cops treat him like a nigga either way. If this as 400 years ago, he's a house nigga, that's why he made his GOMD video and he refers to himself as a house nigga sometimes. Light skinned people are treated better but they're still slaves because they aren't purely anything.

    I feel everything David Banner is saying, just coming from my standpoint being raised by half black woman that is lightskinned, identifying as black causes a state of flux sometimes when this topic of discussion comes about. No my grandmother was not raped she was married to my grandfather from Lebanon and had a kid. A kid (most likely) will fall for someone who resembles his mother(scientific). So as a pro black(I AM MELANTED) 18 year old male, am I wrong for falling for someone who is of lighter shade that is similar to my mother's?

    Yeah I agree, I luv this dude he's 100% right on everything besides his racist statements and I KNOW he doesnt mean it - more then that - the reason why he's doing it is because otherwise that racist part of black people aint gonna listen to him, u feel me? And obviously that part is a majority - he's using this so they can feel he fights for them but what he probably doesnt give a f about but what is pure truth is that 90% of white people dont wanna listen to him because of that OR IF THWY DO THAT MEANS THEY R THE WHITES WHO DONT WANNA BE THE ONES, which makes em as bad as the black people HE WAS TALKING about saying "they dont wanna be black". Then what's the difference... Oh I wish David woold read it but he's not going to prolly... DUDE, R U TALKING ABOUT "RESPECT WHO U ARE" which I think You do, or u r another racist and then Idc what color u r cuz IM NOT RACIST.... So Idc which color u r, I only care if u r racist, cuz if u r that means u r stupid, so Im not gonna trust u.. u feel me??? AFTER ALL DAVID IS 1 OF THE MOST WISE PEOPLE ON EARTH PERIOD

  • @sonofaballer96
    @sonofaballer96 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    David Banner isn't saying that dark skinned people should only date lightskinned people. He's saying that black people are hating themselves when they say they only date lighter skinned people. Sure they're both black but some black people are finding small ways to move further away from the lines or get to the lines are close as possible. The lighter women are being praised while the beautiful black woman is being stomped by her own counterparts. Some say it's natural for blacks to date blacks, I'm not gonna say no, but I feel barley any to no attraction to white females and I have a list of reasons.

    It's the truth this is why there's deeper issues to interracial marriages on the side regarding black people. And why it's very hypocritical to say that your down for your side but you have a spouse that is of the decent of your oppressor. There is no segregation to female beauty because there's many beautiful woman in the world all colors (even though black woman are more attractive). But it's natural to be with your own, and me looking at you and your with someone other than who looks like you. In my opinion your telling me without even guessing that you hate yourself without any excuses. The same goes with black people who prefer their own but only if they aren't dark skinned.

      I'm obviously biased, but I don't agree with you or the millions of other people of all races that think that being with someone of a different race or culture is a reflection of your self-hatred. You don't get to judge someone else by the person they love, who do you think you are?

    • @s4mp_founder
      @s4mp_founder 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nathan Jordan I'm not judging anyone, even despite what I'm saying you as a person can on your own accountability as a human being as an adult to do whatever it is that pleases you right or wrong and it really isn't my business to interject with that decision. My case in this opinion is mine of my own, and I'm referring strictly to my people (black people) not others. When I state it's a clear psychological problem on they're end when they indulge in intimacy or relationships with whites. Especially when those people have a historical lineage that continues to live on through they're practice where they brutally massacre, deprive, and castrate black people out of color reasons conjoined with sick exhilarations when acting out this horror on our people. So the excuse phrase, you can't help who you fall in love with or have the right to be with whomever you choose on black people part is idiocy.
      Although I do understand where most of this behavior derive from interracial relationship between whites and blacks isn't anything new when you study the history of this country origins and it's bondage to enslaving africans mentally, physically, even taking advantage of our ancestors sexually. That can very well perpetuate something meaningless even with it evolving out of harm or allocation.

    If a black man wants to be with a white women it doesn't necessarily mean black women aren't good enough or otherwise. Like what about a white women who chooses to be with a black man just because she happens to find them more interesting? Not every situation is the same or black and white. In this case It could simply be a preference of taste, or choice. The race card is often thrown around in these types of discussions and often used as a catalyst to support and drive a personal view or perspective on the matter in question home. The way I see it, race does have alot to do with it, there's no denying that. But also think that as time goes by the number of mixed race will continue to grow. Simply put back then you had ships and slaves, now you have airplanes and freedom of choice for "the most part". Influence plays a big role so I will concede to a lot of his points.

    It seems as if the message is being missed. He doesn't want to be apart of a movement because he will have to take on the actions of the movement, and in most cases if it's not something you start it will not represent you completely. I wish not to be apart of any particular movement myself unless it's necessary for my growth, and I am sure this is where he was going with that message... I could be wrong, but who cares? Not me. The other part is when it comes to finding a partner (not someone for pleasurable purposes) a partner, you go for the one that represents you in every way. You look for your mirror. If the person you are with is not close to you in some way you get them there, but if you are content with your mate not being a representation of you, male or female, you don't love yourself. It's simple.

    Love listening to David Banner. At the end of the day someone who's not black just can't understand what it's like to be black. We have not experienced what it's like to think as a black person, or how a black person is treated by the rest of the world.

  • @PetersonBlanc
    @PetersonBlanc 7 ปีที่แล้ว

    while David Banner has great point some are just too extreme for me to totally agree with. we are creators of habit, people we surround yourself with and the places we live. resulting in who we love and eventually marry. great people were born on that bases like President Obama so I can't say that I agree with the rape comment

  • @shooterv9434
    @shooterv9434 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    "So 9 times out of 10 when you say you want your light skinned woman, you're saying your African Heritage isn't good enough for me. Your family needs to have been raped in order for me to want you. And then you're also saying if you're mama is black as a skillet, and you want a light skinned woman, you're litterally saying 'fuck my mama'"
    ~ Lavell Crump aka David Banner
    This type of thinking is extremely narrow minded and grotesquely sick. I guarantee you that anyone who evaluates another person, especially for the specific purpose of engaging in a relationship, based solely on the amount of melanin or lack thereof, is surely bound to suffer the ill-fated effects of a miserable relationship. If Crump represents a percentage of Black mindset, it's no wonder so many Black men are in prison, unemployed, and suffering from some type of psychosis.

      subconscious evaluation is done without knowing you're doin it. the same way a person may say they don't like sushi but never tasted it. I like dark women because they resemble me and I knowingly make the choice to prefer that vs someone who's black and says light skin women look better for (wateva reason)

    • @khadijah9140
      @khadijah9140 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      he is talking about the issue of colorism that exists within the black community. alot of blacks view lightskin as more beautiful than dark because it's closer to white. he's not saying that anyone is more beautiful than the other but talking about the twisted mentality that consumes and controls who we see as more beautiful or more smart and competent.

    • @Elipilification
      @Elipilification 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Khadijah Abdullah Bro, nobody sees white people as the most attractive people in the world. In fact, I guarantee you that all across the board tanned people, or people with lightly dark complexion would be viewed as most attractive.
      And also to your second point, how would people connect color of skin with competency and intelligence? What is the logic?

    • @khadijah9140
      @khadijah9140 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Elipilification 1.but that's an issue. when a group of people of people are made to feel lesser because of their skin tone. light shouldn't be preferred or perceived as more beautiful. 2. I never said I agreed with that mindset just said that it existed in the majority of black people.

      Uniting and conforming are very different things... Joining "BLM" means you conform to whatever they dictate... "Uniting" means we all may have different views and opinions BUT we stand together on certain "values"
