Great job!! This was the best movie I've seen about Baja since Dust to Glory. I don't know what you do for a living to support your family but this is what you were meant to do!
Thanks for giving us this great hourlong overview. It’s incredible that first you finish, and go on to finish in 5th place. A ton of adversity for the whole team. I’m impressed with Sherco bikes!
Great video and editing! I raced the 2014 B1K with Team Bulletproof Designs..1273mi of memories! Baja 1000 is an amazing event, so many highs and lows. Our finish was a win for us!
Thank you to the Sherco team for answering all my son's questions at the contingency exit. They were patient and excited to show off the new bikes. We watched your team start at midnight, we rooted you on at Camalu, and we were lucky to watch the team cross the finish. Congrats. Hope to see the team back in 2025.
Your story is the culmination of many of our dreams when it comes to families that ride/race offroad. Thank you for your real thoughts and descriptions of your experiences. What a great way to spend a Thanksgiving morning. 😊
I was just thinking that the bikes you ride are so reliable right till the end...I too have been racing from age 4 a 50cc Indian Paris raceway ca.. Then Husky cross country in Nevada.. finished my first race at 110 miles on a IT 125 dead last. Then first place very next race. Then took up Husqvarna 250 and 430.. last race was when on leave serving in usn.. Later in life my first 4 stroke yz250f. Loved it ,and lastly never had rode on the street, a xt225. Li e it. I ride to the max with no pitty for the bike and make sure it's always the best bike possible and prepare for anything .. Last thing you'll ever see me do is push! LMAO, ya know.. Love watching you
I’ve been looking forward to this video! As ll have watched the highlights of the 2024 Baja 1000 I kept an eye out for your bike number. What an awesome experience 🤙🏼
Amazing recap of your race. We were running in Pro Limited and saw you guys a few times on race day. Was hoping to get to meet you in person at tech as I have been watching your stuff for a long time. Maybe we will see you at the next B1K.
I did that whoop section. Tecate to San Felipe. Those truck whoops are a different element. Large spacing and deep. I think there were 30 miles of the things in one unrelenting section.
"The San Felipe whoops can eat my ass." - Colin Edwards. They just keep going and going. You have to eat big down there. The first time is something you'll never forget!
You definitely had the toughest section . I was hurting by San Felipe and that section sucked as an Ironman but I promise you it was harder than any other section combined . I would’ve liked that section if it were my only section but not 480 miles in .
Nice to see and learn some. That cow there was cowmoflaged 😎😬 How far did you usually ride before filling up the gastank and how far during a day til rest?
The Stock Sherco fuel tanks are about 2.7 gallons. In the deep sand and gravel we were averaging about 55-60 miles on a fuel tank. We had four riders on the team each taking about 200 miles. It took us about 5 hours each moving time to complete our section.

Glad to hear that! Definitely a lot of inspiration from Dust to Glory. Glad we were able to share this story. Thanks for watching
Into the dust is pretty good if you haven’t seen it

Thank you for the kind words! Baja is a truly challenging but rewarding experience.
Best commentary I’ve seen for the race in 20 plus years. What an incredibly articulate narrative of the effort everyone put forth. Job well done!!!

making top ten in class for first timers is pretty darn awesome!!!
A nice cherry on top after achieving our goal of finishing!
Congrats on finishing as a team.
this really just shows life comes at you and you can make the most out of it
San Felipe whoops are no joke. I was tired of them after about an hour in a trophy truck. You guys are crazy.
Bucket list for sure. Glad you survived and made some memories!
It's a grueling race, but the memories are priceless.
I watch that movie probably once a year at least. Dana living up to his father Bruce’s legacy.
Your wheelie start was subtle but legit
First day in Baja injuries are so, so common. I personally can think of a dozen, my own included. Baja can certainly bite you. Great story.
It's definitely a tough race, but it's worth the challenge.
Nice work Josh! Awesome recap. Way to overcome the adversity.
Appreciate the support!
Such a well made video, grats on finishing!

Every taco from now on probably will never taste as good as that one for many reasons.
🔥
You realize you just said Mexico gave you Freedom!
Iron man does it solo

@@ridewiththeknightsThanks. Great job,
Great video Josh!!
Man to hear you where worn out from whoops… someone who rides Utah desert sand whoops like it’s a smooth road.. that’s intense
