I just purchased the DLC and soundtrack. At least now I can listen to the music while I work and pretend that my work is that of the librarian, instead of the drudgery that is my life. :) Very well done video here, Icon. Thanks a bunch for this review Ic0n, very well made! I had to laugh, because your wholehearted enthusiasm when describing the game and its DLC sounds "exactly" like I sounded when I told my best friend about it, haha.
I'd honestly advise just to install the DLC, take from it what you want and don't hinder yourself. The game is made to be replayed a ton and the DLC just adds nice things which make the game more interesting. And many of the layers of the DLC are something you can do, but you're not being forced to.
Agree. It adds a complete new social layer into the game which didn't exist before. I really hope we get more "completed stories" for the Skillboard one day. I mean there is already quite some, but I feel like this sector could use some more richness for the replays. Apart from that I love the whole salon gameplay so much. The flat cardboard cuts of the people visiting your place are so much more alive now that we can see them react and talk about their lives. Love the stuff.
