Wangaratta Railway Station Victoria Australia UPDATE 27th August 2024.

Wangaratta railway station is being upgraded to take piggy back containers. As such, 2 pedestrian bridges are in the process of being removed. One has already been removed with a road bridge being heightened. A pedestrian subway is being built in place of the pedestrian bridges.

Interesting, as I live in Sweden and haven't been in Australia since 1979, a lot has happened.
I remember stopping by in Wangaratta back in 1973 to look for any remains of the Wangaratta to Whitfield narow gauge. Don't remember if we found any.
