this is a helpful tutorial, except that it seems you are using the word circumference incorrectly or the math on the illustrations is off. Do you mean (eg) bust circumference divided by 2 plus 1/2 inch? at minute :46?
So what is the right way?
No I think divided by 4 makes sense because the circumference includes both the front and back measurements, and the bodice block only has half of one of these measurements
I think the front shoulder slope is variable..

What reference material did you use for this bodice drafting? I'm familiar with the sketches for the modifications and the collars in your other videos but I have not seen this simplified version of the basic bodice and back before.

@@hoped.c.1698 i figured out the problem when I tried a different tutorial. You have to divide your bust and waist circumference by 4 instead of two!

It is a shoulder slope because iour shoulder is not straight so thats why for giving the slope we take 1 inch down from C
