Give it a go. The gilding flakes can get everywhere but the result is worth it.

I'm not sure which dies you are referring to, but all of the dies used in this video are from Crafters Companion.

All of the dies are from Crafters Companion. The edgeable on the top is the baroque edge die. The rose is an old one from about 3 years ago, but you could use any die you want for the inset. I used the inverted nesting die to create the aperture. The completed box is 5.5"x5.5"x about 7" tall.
