- Shallow water speed sets are a great way to get those Bristol Bay salmon! This guy gets into the skinny water!

Those reutov boats are sick 🫡
I was really surprised by how shallow they are!
That is awesome
It sure was fun to watch!
@@SaltWaterSalmon do you also set the same way or do you do that on certain situations?
@@ArielCuna only certain stages of tide/situations/locations call for these speed sets. Yes I do it too. I have more, somewhat similar videos on my channel…
plugged his neighbor cork for cork - back in the day would be shocking to see him to get out on his bow with a fire arm aimed at ya for doin' that
Well truth be told, he was actually corking himself. He is a buddy of mine and set behind me as he was just learning this particular set. Obviously a super shallow set and have to navigate set-net buoys...but to your point yes, guns have been fire over close in action! Not so much any more though, the Troopers are just a phone call away, and everything is being recorded all the time! Pew Pew 😆
@@SaltWaterSalmon - actually wondered about that - used to see that at the line - but had to be first in line to make it work unless there's so many fish it doesn't matter (very rare) - we only did it a couple times - too nerve wracking and too many obstacles, yeah set nets, even boulders in some places - as for fire arms, on our boat the rule was this: nobody boards with the most effective hole-making device of all - last thing we wanted was a hole in the hull
@@dogstar8871 yeah no guns is a good policy. I love mine but usually they don’t come on the boat with me….after all, accidents happen.
Is that Rowan?
@@matthewrudloff3726 yes it sure is!
Sooo shallow omg impressive thats my.spot.tho
Lol, everybody thinks that's their spot! Including me.
