ive been checking out your videos. all i can say is awesome. i was born there and then visited my grandparents thru the years. it was the highlight of the year, bigger than christmas. but you missed out kid. the 50s , 60s, and 70s were amazing times in findlay.
I'm from Findlay and have not been there for 30 years. It's thrilling to see this video because one of my most fondest memories was of the beautiful victorian homes. And yes, I sure do remember Pattersons. And, just to add to this towns historical legacy, does anyone out there remember The Corner Lunch? It was owned by grandfather, Junior Foor and I spent many years in the 70's hand washing dishes for him. Gosh, I miss him so but not all those dirty dishes.
Is 1:43 the house (can't remember who owned it, but seems the Rockefellers stayed at even) on North Main past Trenton? If so, did it lose it's tower? No matter what house it it, I'm sure it looks familiar, but seems to be missing the roof above the tower. :-( You have the house I ALWAYS wanted as a child, but should have showed more views of it (1003 S. Main), because it is the whole view that makes that house! Thank you.
I have always loved those old Victorian homes in Findlay - they are beautiful.
Beautiful Findlay Ohio
