I have the same model and for some reason mines is rebooting randomly mostly going on inclines. So far im reading online and they are saying, ground, firmware update, reset or a restore. Any suggestions?
Just to elaborate, maybe check all the wiring and not just the ground wire as well as the rest you've found. If that doesn't work then you have exhausted all I know and will need to speak with a technician to see if there is anything else to do. If you purchased your receiver through Crutchfield, then I recommend contacting our support using their direct dial number we included on the order invoice for the fastest help. If it was purchased elsewhere and they cannot help, I recommend contacting Kenwood's support on 800-536-9663 for help
There is no hard key button on this radio for ejecting a disc. The process to eject a disc is found on page 16 of the owner's manual. Hi I have 2 questions 1. can you use ur iphone usb cable that you change ur iphone to connect to radio? and 2. where do you connect the usb port cable to the radio?
Unfortunately, this model has been discontinued and is no longer available from Crutchfield. To answer your questions; Yes, you could use the Lightning to USB cable that came with your iPhone to connect to the stereo. The Kenwood came with a 39" USB extension cable for connection from the back of the stereo's chassis. It terminated is a female USB for connecting your devices. On the DDX6705S, you will press the button on the bottom left, directly above the "voice" button. Then touch "setup" Touch "user interface" Touch "time zone" Select your time zone You can from that menu, choose to set the clock manually if you wish. The default setting is set to synchronizing, which is automatic based on your time zone.

My Kenwood turns off when I'm driving and have musicon Bluetooth..it also says standby I need help
