I got this at a local tech store and man im excited i was so tired of carrying around my focusrite whenever i had to work out and about
I just picked this up on sale. It arrived today and can’t wait to try it out. Great review!!

So I got it for $69 on Amazon. It’s on sale. This is a good time to get it. If you’re a musician, you can also use this for quiet play if you want to you can plug it into a power port like a charging port and it gives it enough power then you put your headphones in and plug your guitar in the back and you can practice without bothering anybody. I’ve had it about an hour or so and I’m impressed with it. I like it I saw it on another TH-cam channel. Somebody vaguely was talking about that they used it and I really like it so there you go. Actually, I bought it used on Amazon. I don’t know how many they have. It was like a refurbished unit what they call like new and I got it for $57. Sorry about that.

Thanks for the feedback, while editing I did think I was noticing that too. Wasn’t sure if I was just further away from the mic, but I also noticed a difference.
Hey man! Absolutely stunning and clear cut review! I had a question with this interface as I am going to buy the unit next week. My question is can I record my electric guitar using the 1st Input (Mic/Line)?
I’m not exactly sure. I suspect there is a difference between instrument in and line in. Find out if your guitar can provide a line level signal, if so, it should work. Line level is pretty specific, which I suspect is different from instrument, but I’m not really a sure.
The signal out of your guitar is not line level. If you use an adapter cable to plug your guitar in with an xlr, it will pass through the mic inputs preamp.
I'm glad I read this... I've had my bass plugged in the Mic/Line input instead of the INST one lol

Thank you for your review. Mainly looking for something like this to use as a DAC for my Eris 4.5 Studio monitors. Was also looking at the scarlett solo and the minifuse 1 (because having the option to record voice/dialogue would be great). Would you say this would be a solid choice for those purpose, or would one of the others work better?

Can’t imagine why I would spend $40 more on something else, I would be surprised if the preamps are as clean as this unit.

I’m not sure it will run off a non-usb-c device. Probably need to look into that.
This interface is compatible with the iPad as any other USB device. You only need the camera kit adapter for Apple devices.

My question is: if I power it from usb power instead of a computer/device does it have any function standalone?
Much like a lot of usb only equipment, if you simply get a plug with a USB on it often used to say, charge devices, that can also be used to power a device such as this as well.

@@markwiemels thanks , after checking out some reviews, I ended up buying Samson Q9U. Hoping this time it works for me.
I was sent that mic, in my opinion, it was so bad that I couldn’t even review it. I would suggest the PreSonus Revelator Dynamic, it’s new, and probably the best USB of the market now.
@@aslamsean I pulled out that Q9U, it actually sound good if you use it in a very specific way. Must be setup in front of you, not off to the side. Two fists distance, and try with and without the mid boost. If you get close to it, it gets super boomy and muffled, then you need to use the high pass filter. I will try to do a video on it, been meaning to make one about how to solve the problems that many Q9U users have.

Yes, my understanding is that pre-amps are much cleaner, but I don't have the m-audio to compare.

Well I like this but I also was told and read that I could use this on my android phone specifically s24 ultra...if it won't I wasted my money because I have no computer
From my experience with the Rode NT2A microphone, the AudioBox GO doesn't have powerful enough gain. I maxed out the gain just to speak 6 inches from the mic, and get a faint input level -20db to -25db or less. With the Presonus iOne I can speak comfortably 6 inches away with the gain around 3o clock, nearly maxed out, but way better level than the AudioBox GO, around -10db.. So despite the quality that you found is "that good" .. the gain is not great on it, which makes it a very bad choice in some cases. Unless I got a bad Audiobox GO, the iOne is way way better in my opinion. It's also made of metal instead of cheap plastic, and the knobs feel solid, unlike the GO which feels super cheap.
Help me... this one or Presonus USB 96? Wich one should I pick up?
This one! The 96 has terrible pre amp noise, it’s unusable for many mics.

Hello..I am a newbie to aufio interfaces. I got the aduiobox go for my birthday last January (only thing i could afford at Php 3,599 (U$67).
What i love about this is indeed the clean preamps. I am a keyboardist and i mostly use the audiobox for my keyboard connected via stereo output (if i dont need to do any vocal), and i can also jus use an audio splitter if i want to do keyboard+mic.
My minor issue here is when i use my cheap dynamic mic (Samson Q7) with the audiobox, the gain needs to be cranked way up just to get a signal.
What could be the cause? My mic has low impedance (or whatever)?

I find video with a low volume just more annoying than a Loud audio because you cant always turn it up enough to hear well and you can always turn Loud down!!!! You would think by this level of technology that there would be a standard in place. And for those of you using TH-cams electronic music that were forced to hear everyday and never wanted to hear it, Can ya just stop using it. A computer wrote all this crap and is void of any emotion and has no redeeming quality. I think it actually makes me ill. Nobody has ever asked to hear this stuff yet we make these the most heard and best known songs of all time. It will surpass the Beatles and Michael Jackson and we dont even want to hear it. Can you imagine if you were at an EDM Fest and a DJ played one o these songs, They might be murdered. Nobody is dancing to it and nobody is playing it on their car stereo, nobody is going over baracades and fences. Im going to get a petition to float around somehow and at least curb most of it. If any Agrees with me, Comment a "Yes" below

@@zeenuf00 just beware of some of these “expert” reviews, often the numbers are inaccurate or don’t represent real world results. In practical use, this unit is great, especially for the price point. Headroom is somewhat theoretical anyways.
