I'm imagining a scenario where Mazar is sat in front of hundreds of monitors, each one playing a different Showdown game, sorting through the myriad replays he's downloaded until one of his opponent's test matches comes up and he begins to scrutinize it obsessively, crafting the perfect Pokemon to counter the team.
If I remember correctly what happened with Wolfey was he was practicing with his tournament team on Sw/Sh with an alt account on Japanese servers and someone he battled was streaming and someone watching that stream (somehow) figured out the opponent was Wolfey.
There was another of wolfe's teams (His Scream Tail perish trap team if I'm remembering correctly) that he tested on Showdown and ended up climbing the ladder too high. People saw it and some attempted to counter team it, and others attempted to use it for themselves (and switched things up when they couldn't make it work)
@@That_Guy_Nee Yes! The video about this was so funny. He used an alt account, accidently won too much an people were like: "That must be a pro player.." This is what we call: Suffering from success lol
There was a pretty big scandal I think in 2018 where during a global challenge where you could win championship points to play in world's there were people with hacked devices that let you dump your opponents team to see their sets. While it was supposed to be closed team sheet best of 1.
