Love watching your videos during this time of year when birds are chirping and it’s sunny outside. Im currently under a blanket with a warm cup of coffee lol My favorite dress I made was probably a Shelby dress from True Bias. I worked really hard to get the perfect fit and it really came out great!

The Pattern Scout Ella dress was my favorite. It was simple, it highlighted the fabric beautifully and the fit was amazing.
It's so refrreshing to sew up simple patterns at times!

Hi Kristen. Great review! I think I probably have two favourites from 2024, a dress and skirt. The dress is from the Streat Dress from the Sussex Seamtress. Made it in a cotton halloween plaid. It is a vintage inspired dress (no surprises there 🥰) and so Yummy! I'll add the skirt here as well just in case you don't get to do a skirt review. Of course it's the SisterMag 65-7 Swinging six panel skirt (yep another vintage inspired look) in the orange and pink brocade that I wore to Frocktails!! I was going to wear it for Christmas Day but Covid hit our household (first time ever). So I look at it with longing and hope to be able to wear it again soon!

Great vlog, loved seeing all your dresses. You have inspired me to try a couple - the Reeta Dress and the Hope Dress. I've just purchased the Summer in NY Dress as i've been keen to try this all year, can't wait to get that on the go.

Love your dresses, thank you for your round-up!! Your top three are probably my favourite 3😊. I was relieved to get the Closet Core Crew Periwinkle before it was deleted end of December with 2023’s Colour range - your makes inspired me to get the full membership - just for this pattern😂.
I really like the Callie or Kallie and the dress you are wearing. My favourite make and complicated was Vogue V1934. Gosh you worked hard this year great selection of dresses.

You have delighted us with your thoughtful choices and descriptive reviews, sparking our imaginations on what to create for ourselves.
My two favourites would have to be:
I loved how feminine and floaty the Maison Fauve Cuba Libre dress was and I loved the sophistication of the pattern and the vibrant colours of the Pattern Scout Ella dress. Both were Catwalk worthy.

Happy New Year Kristen. Just loved all of your makes and you looked absolutely stunning in all of them. I think my favourite was the East of Eden dress as I like the form fitting style. I'm still pretty much a beginner so I tend to focus on tops and haven't ventured into dressmaking too much as I'm a bit wary (scared) of the fitting for a dress (and the zips) but am wanting to make a start on this in 2025..maybe a new years resolution? I always look forward to watching all of your videos and seeing the new fabrics and what you've been making. Hope you have a great week. x
That dress is a real favourite of mine too! I'm sure you'll find dressmaking so rewarding, you could always start with a simple style and build from there.

I don’t like pockets in my dresses for the same reason! Always feels very controversial 😅
