That will paper theme throughout the house. I liked it in the blue but when it was yellow/orange in the kitchen was like woah!! 😆 the house now seems lonely and in tears as she is forgotten. Great vid as usual.

No fixing that one unless you settle for smaller. If it was abandoned late last century it sure decayed fast.
At my perspective to live in a remote place like that would be a privilege, until the car breaks down.
    Thanks for the tour Paul!

Cheers John! :-) Yeah I suspect the old home was well and truly showing signs of falling in even when the last occupants were in there in the 90`s and got to the point where too dangerous. :-)

Tailem Bend, SA// I remember as a child-about late 1950's- the earthquake that occurred, it was quite a 'good one' and when I see the cracks in SA houses, I think of that- my parents home (on Hampstead Rd) had a crack in it which I could fit my hand through afterwards !

@@vickisawyer7405 lolol I like wrong..mostly..the orange and lime green is a bit iffy.I loved the different shades of blue wallpaper in the hallway at the beginning of the vid, that was cool.Cant see too many farmer blokes going for it but they would've thought it was wife's domain I guess, but as a female and an artist,I approve 😁

@@raindog428 to each her own😸. I loved the blue, but the paper mom put in the kitchen was a type of foil and orange with patterns of coffee pots and frying pans. She painted my bedroom pink and my brother's blue. To this day we both hate those colors. We don't blame her, it was just that time...😉

Hey Paul the tv near the door was a thorn 1983 and the other one was probably rank arena 1980 model. I’m amazed that the swallows nest didn’t fall down with that wallpaper falling off. They obviously loved orange looking at that kitchen totally retro that one. I wonder if that plum pudding was still in that can must be 30 years old now would of aged and keeping good, but I wouldn’t eat that one LoL. That shed had a few good things in it that was a evaporated water cooler air con, awesome find mate cheers

Judy G.... You seem to have a romantic artistic perspective on the scene, a melancholy of sorts.... Same here.
But at the same time, soft living kill toughness and without toughness "you die". Lol... No really. As a lad we use go camping in the NSW town of Canargo, in the 1950s + 60s.
One old ww1 soldier lived in flat land bush in a wooden frame covered with tar paper. (as a boy it was great).
One family lived in a corrugated iron house, unlined. The spacers on the frame (the noggins) became very handy shelves....
What is the redeeming feature here.... They didn't have a worry in the world and we're relatively happy....
Sorry to bore you, but you prompted my experiences.
So all the best to you Judy.

Evaporative cooler 18:28. Use the cooling effects of water evaporating into a gaseous (vapor) state. Very efficient during the spring and early summer months before the monsoon season hits and humidity rises. We call them 'swamp coolers' here in Arizona. As a matter of fact, I have one going right now as I type this!
