Good evening! This is a pretty long video, I answered a ton of your questions. If I didn't get to yours this time, I'll do some more videos like this if you guys leave some likes. The best chance of your question being answered is if you use #askmeanything in your comment going forward. Hope your week is going good! I'll see you before the weekend with something cool. I gotta go get some paint stripper BAD. Seeya! 🍺🍺😭😭👍👍❤
Would you be interested in alot of import cars , i bought them years ago and don’t have a use for any of them , and love to send them to you if you would want them.
Wait a gosh darn minute! You’re Tactical Poutine? I used to watch your stuff back in the day on my old account. That’s awesome, love your videos now, and hope to see more Mad Max style builds in the future.
I actually have an accurate looking square body 1:64 scale die cast that I was wondering if you would be interested in customizing for the content for sure i own to actual squares a 76 and a 77 that I love so I have a special thing for squares in general
@@masterbudwalker9181 This page we are on now IS the old Tactical Poutine page, I rebranded it one day. So those 300 some subs came here against their will at first lol
There is your answer my dude, end of year auction and put the money back into equipment for the channel, new spray gun etc. People will treasure your creations!
Sir, you have no idea how therapeutic your videos are. They are like ASMR. Listening to the compresor in the background, the spray noice from the air brush and if course the aded sound effects. Awesome. Not too loud not too low. Sound quality just right. Thanks. Please post more. Love your channel.
Bro!!! You are the best 1/64 diecast customizer on TH-cam, and my favorite channel out of all of them. I wish you could come back. Meanwhile, I just cruise down memory lane...thanks for all you've done. Much love man. ❤
Awesome!!!! I’ve been here since the Pacer, jimmy, preacher Dan, and the live stream!!!! I’ve started on old general lees and the rest of the ertl line. I’ve also started on modeling to refine my painting! I’ve always enjoyed this channel and look forward to them all the time! Thanks for the inspiration brother!
Thabks for encouraging me to get deeper into customsbrother. I enjoy it greatly and turn you in and just watch most of the dsy even if I watched it before. something I find I didn't see before
I'm not on FB but was one of the first 200 Subscribers to this Die-cast Restoration channel. Always wanted to do this, maybe when I retire, but like the Channel.
A year end auction is awesome. Plus you could use the proceeds to fund better equipment. Just wanted to say I really enjoy your vids and enjoy the commentary very much. Keep doing your thing. 👍👍👍
Man nice to hear that you can pay the bills with this. Living the dream! I used to live in Saskatoon for a few years when I was a kid. Then moved back to Europe.
Wasn't too sure about the color combo but it really, really works - looks like something you'd find dominating the local drag strip! Thanks again for answering my BIG QUESTION too!
Man I've been searching all over to figure out that show I used to watch when I was a kid, and here you just dropped it on me. MXC , we didn't have the channel it originally aired on since we still used rabbit ears and aluminum foil on top of the TV but there was a local channel that showed it sometimes on the weekends and that was the funniest show ever. I couldn't remember enough about it to go off of for a search.
I literally fist pumped when my question came up first! I painted cars for a living for a few years, it seemed like you knew what you were doing so i had to ask! So glad you arr back!
Hell yeah, definitely reminds me of 70's drag cars! I remember seeing that video go viral on facebook, it was your humour that got people sucked in more than the car.
Those hemostats looks a lot like Rapala forceps. A brand here in Sweden that is quite big, but it is made in Finland. I have one of their 7,5 inch forceps and i have had it for about 15 years now, still works great! And i am a fishing fanatic so it has seen a lot of abuse and piketeeth during the years. Thank you for a great channel!!!! You sir, inspired me to try restoring some diecast cars, and it is great fun!!!! I have a LOT to learn as i just started, and your films i find quite educational 😃
I started watching your channel when I was looking up a car called red baron. It was the first birthday present that I bought for my brother. Diecast came up on u tube. I've been totally fascinated with all the projects ever since. I can't wait until you can do some of the bigger models again.but I'm totally happy with what you're doing now
That was awesome Austin, not just the car but especially the Q&A. I understand that it can be hard on your throat but if you can... we'd enjoy more. Thanks.
Nice job.. After watching u ive painted 5 ( raddle can ) changed lots of wheels. Im working on 1 while watching. Im working on getting a air brush set up. I built tons of 1/24 models back in the day. But didnt want too get into all that again. My eyes r too bad for that.. But i can do this.. So its a win... Glad too hear u can cover your bills doing what u wish... Cool. Keep up the good work..
Again I want to say I enjoy your channel and I'm so glad you talk us through what you are doing I have noticed lately a lot of the newbysdont say anything they just point at what they are doing that doesnt help me when I'm trying to figure out what and why they are doing what they are doing .so thank you and keep them coming . BTW the mopar is nice
Weren't kidding about the Squarebody's!! Can't find them anywhere! A black or silver pin-stripe would have looked killer on that Challenger!! Great work though!
Please go with the “year end auction” or even list finished vehicles a little after a video is uploaded. It would help increase with the price of the vehicles considering they would be available right after a video. Just an idea.
I like the Ultra Airbrush v1 or v2 Harder & Steenbeck. It has .2mm to .6mm nozzle's and needle's so give a good selection of spray size and at A great price so have a look it is easy to clean and parts are always at hand. They are put together like the Bager brand of airbrush to give you a idea of what you get with one.
Honestly, I love your job on 1/64s. Wouldn't change to big scales for nothing, even if you had proper tools. I'm a 1/64 guy, don't like bigger scales at all.
I love this car, the colors are awesome and I can’t wait to check it out in person hopefully soon 👍 Nice to hear your answers to the Q&A, especially some of your history and the stuff about your old channel. Very interesting!
SWEEET love how it turned out im usually not a fan of the pro street looking cars but you did an amazing job on this one. Im trying to get 3 types of trucks in 1:24 or 1:18 scale being 2 square bodies atruck and blazer 3rd being a 67-72 chevy truck then my truck collection will be completed.......well almost i still need a couple of ford trucks....but that's fords 🤣🤣 but i agree trying to get one from ebay is way more than they're worth but if you go to your local truck stop you can find a square body thats where im picking up a square body blazer 1:24scale in a few days
I used a Kobalt touch up gun from Lowes in a body shop for 4 years that was around $100. I've used everything from Husky to Sata and above and the Kobalt should easily be twice the price it was. That gun was a pleasure to work with.
I'm not against buying something like that, but my first airbrush I bought for the channel was around $185 and I wore out the needle seat cause it was brass. My Iwata has the steel version of the same part, and its been amazing. I was worried about cheaping out a bit and running into the same problem again rather than just buying something decent. I know what to look for now, so Ill look into it. Thanks for the comment!
Would love to see more Challengers! I drive a 2017 Challenger 392 Shaker. It's got that cool Destroyer Gray on it, but I wanna do something custom with it.
This one is freaking awesome 🤩 About the square body trucks, haven't seen any around this area either. Have several Walmarts, Target, grocery stores, etc. And you're correct on online pricing on them
It would be cool if you did some more transport trucks like you said at the end of the video, would be even cooler if you matched it with your existing creations like the Amx you made
awesome vid that paint job is beyond spectacular. no other words cant describe it. #question me I think it was sorry. have an airbrush and few paints was told windex but any other suggestions for thinning out the paint on a budget. thx in advance
Wow it seems like such a long time ago when we were sitting at 1k think I came in about that time, I have been here for a ton of the milestones.. from Pateron to discord til Now!
You can get Automotive Clear in a spray can from your local auto paint supplier. Most will custom mix any color base that you'd like or give them a color code and will fill a spray can for ya.
Ok I have watched your videos for several years. You are by far the best both at painting and definitely entertainment wise. Tell me the exact airbrush for the clear coat sprayer you want and I will buy it and send it to you. I have a decent job and can work extra hours and can make the money for one in half a shift.
Looks great. Love the paintsceme... dig the litle darker orange you did. You are so talented. Would be fun to se you 3d print some dudes ånd girls to join jimmy, and custom paint em.
Awesome chose on the Square Body. I own a 1986 C10 with a build .383 I would love to sent you a video of it and see if you could build a matching Hotwheels. Keep up the great work.
Use basecoats or primer etc. I was a mechanic, not a body guy.... but my major in college was graphic design so feeling the painting later in life. Now of all things, I'm a boring nerdy IT SOC guy lol...

You need to find a boat to customize. Jimmy needs a pimp boat

An auction would be a great idea - perhaps with proceeds going to a good cause... I'd buy that for a doll-hair!
"Tactical Poutine"!! LMFAO!!!🤣🤣🤣👍
Bro!!! You are the best 1/64 diecast customizer on TH-cam, and my favorite channel out of all of them. I wish you could come back. Meanwhile, I just cruise down memory lane...thanks for all you've done. Much love man. ❤
Tactical Poutine - that's EPIC! That would be a great name for a diner/bait shop/outfitter....
That challenger just pops! It really brings the pro street theme to life. Cheers, mate.
Really liking the addition of the items list along the side during painting.
Awesome!!!! I’ve been here since the Pacer, jimmy, preacher Dan, and the live stream!!!! I’ve started on old general lees and the rest of the ertl line. Probably my favorite car you've done so far. That color combo is pretty sexy.
I literally fist pumped when my question came up first! I painted cars for a living for a few years, it seemed like you knew what you were doing so i had to ask! So glad you arr back!
Reminds me of a tequila sunrise. My favourite drink back in the day. Looks great.
Hell yeah, definitely reminds me of 70's drag cars! I remember seeing that video go viral on facebook, it was your humour that got people sucked in more than the car.
The 99.5k hurts my OCD. Hope you will get to that 100k milestone soon. You surely deserve it ! Greetings from Romania ! :)
Now that's a coat counter, my man. Fricken awesome! And thanks for sharing with us. Killer episode.
lol yea thanks! I spent some time making that over the weekend.
Beautiful paint work. Like the new counter, Enjoyed the Q and A.
Another spectacular paint job !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That Drag Challenger Is Madd Slick and Sick , Love It Bro I Believe A Slammed Carrier Should Complete The Madness...JS
Those colors are amazing together!
That was awesome Austin, not just the car but especially the Q&A. I understand that it can be hard on your throat but if you can... we'd enjoy more. Thanks.
Can’t we just do give you all 5 so we can help you get the gun or do you have Pateron so we can help. I’d love to see a 1:18 scale.
Brilliant paint job, 👍👍👍
Take care,
Melbourne, Australia.
That car is SICK !!!! Great job
What a stunning result. The colors really work.
That paint job came out bad ass.
Saskatchewan! Definitely another reason why I love your channel home boy.
Naw I'm from Alberta you SK people don't like me hehehe
@@DiecastResurrection AB or SK...still a good prairie boy.

Once again, beautiful paint work! Enjoyed the Q & A session, good episode!
Weren't kidding about the Squarebody's!! Can't find them anywhere! A black or silver pin-stripe would have looked killer on that Challenger!! Great work though!
Like the Q&A, hear answers to questions I had. Very nice paint on the challenger! Keep up the excellent work!
A auction would be great . I like that idea , Mike Espo. Awesome work as always
Incredible MUSCLE CAR ....
I like the spray counter and materials list on the side
I do 1:18 scale its better to use spray can on bigger scale. I only use airbrush for special pigments that i need to mix by myself. Just an opinion.
Please go with the “year end auction” or even list finished vehicles a little after a video is uploaded. It would help increase with the price of the vehicles considering they would be available right after a video. Just an idea.

Congratulations on your success with the channel...that is really awesome! :) And I love how that Challenger turned out! :)

Love the spray booth side bar you've added with the paint info!
Me too, it was requested so I made it over the weekend!

I noticed the paint was more choppy. The comic sparkle is best, since it's smaller in scale! Another great build Austin!!!
Awesome paint!
another sick job austin
Was wondering about a step by step paint tutorial about what to use etc. Good entry-level air brush etc? Picking paint.... etc.
Use basecoats or primer etc. I was a mechanic, not a body guy.... but my major in college was graphic design so feeling the painting later in life. Now of all things, I'm a boring nerdy IT SOC guy lol...
You are amazing thanks for reading my question it was Pimp!
Well done sir. It looks sweet
When I see this car I'm reminded of the county enforcement cars. They'd be painted any colour, full gloss except for the matte identification marks..
what type of paints do you use to paint the diecast cars with
Awesome video and car. Great to get some peoples questions answered
Wow, very nice paint!
What kind of masking tape is the best?
dude that car turned out bad ass thanks for the ideer and great video
Favorite car and the video ive been waiting for
Hi what size tap and drill bit do you use for the screws underneath?
