I feel like we are used to it😃 I don’t think it is 100% okay, we need to check ourselves and our health from time to time. I can not give more advice, I’m not a doctor. I stopped the combination just to check because the pop I’m used to sounds much different. Just keep an eye on these things😊
@emmy._.jan.e If you can do doubles, you already have what it takes. I can not see you and make corrections, but I have 3 tips: 1) BALANCE. Train your balance on one leg (slow retiré on relevé), hold as long as possible and fix your body alignment at the same time (keep hips and shoulders square). 2)SPOTTING. Turn your head as fast as possible, even if you feel confident in spotting, do chaîné turns and play some spotting games (count fingers, look at pictures etc.). 3)MOMENTUM. If you turn pirouettes to the right, add extra power to your left hip, left shoulder and right knee. These body parts should lead. +Extra tip - keep the same rhythm (you can listen to energetic music in the background). HOW TO STOP? - Push your toes into the ground, engage/contract your abs and pull yourself up. 2 main difficulties: •If you fall because of too much speed and momentum-focus on 1)BALANCE. •If you can not get a full rotation, focus on 3)MOMENTUM. In both cases, you need to hold the spot. Let me know how did it go!😊
You’re not late. I haven’t really talked about this. These days, I mostly teach dance. I do perform here and there, and I want to get better as a dancer. I train extra and experiment on my free time because there’s so much more I want to learn and achieve. That’s a part of the full story😊
Seeing ballet videos makes me wish I never quit when I was like 7 lmao

Oh that hip pop always happens to me! I never worry about it, but maybe I should ?

Do you have any tips for turns? I’m stuck at doubles and can’t get my triples

I'm late to this series so curious why you're training alone? Are you going freelance or something else?
