As a paraplegic vet confined to a hospital bed.. i love my caregivers!! I see my doctor at home, all this technology is sooo much better then being carted on a gurney back n fourth.. suuucks!! Those thing's are hard.. and they hurt.. not built for comfort.. built for speed and utility 😂
Just think years ago they didn’t have this technology. It made life so much harder for house bound people. Glad for you! ❤

Except that there are laws around drunk driving, which are enforced, and laws around underage drinking, which are enforced. VERY sceptical about that at home hospital system in SC. It will eventually get to the point that you'll be sitting at home waiting until you die for help. At least if you're crashing at a hospital, they take you in immediately. One guy can't replace all the resources a hospital can provide. Never trust the Carolina's when they claim to want to help the regular guy. You think oligarchs don't get into a hospital when they need to?

@@slapsbace People assume the worst because the worst happens in some cases. Hospitals will still exist, but what will be the criteria for being attended in one? Will it be a criteria that favors you? Who will decide the criteria?
First of all, it's not a "home hospital system." It's call community paramedicine. Look at the badge on the paramedic's shirt, it says "Community Paramedic." I am a Paramedic that works for a hospital system. What was shown in the piece was a SCHEDULED visit for a chronic but stable patient. If you have a medical emergency or feel that your condition has become unstable, you're free to call 911 for an EMS unit that will respond to your home with the intention of transporting you to the ER where obviously a physician will see you. Community paramedicine is a only good for specific patients as it was mentioned in the piece. These paths of care have been tested and vetted on hundreds, if not thousands of types of patients. Do you think insurance companies or the EMS systems in these states would approve or offer to pay for these types of services because they don't work? Clearly they do. Hospital systems are literally going broke and shutting their doors because they can't get reimbursed for services. Medicare is telling them to find better ways to deliver care. And to keep people with chronic conditions in their homes. How do you think that's going to get done? What are your ideas?

The police blocked the residents of Lahaina in during the fire. There's a lot of footage of people going around the barricades. The cop said this was due to down lines however people who went past never found down lines. Plus the power was off! Why do you all have to report The Narrative and not the actual truth?
"Hospital at Home" is a great help for patients. I live in Nevada, and I have seen advertisements for patients to see a doctor or practitioner at home. Yes, it is a return to the past, but now, practitioners are able to use all the modern technologies, and then the patient can also have a "face to face" with the physician by computer.

I would like to see the for-profit entities that design our medical systems invest in more emergency space and personnel. If a patient is sick enough to be admitted to the hospital, then the hospital is where they should be. What happens to the patient who codes, to the patient whose surgical site hemorrhages? If there are enough staff on hand to help ED patients, then they shouldn't have a reason to harass the admin people. Sending patients home so that admin people aren't harassed is not the answer.

I said this years ago about having moble health care unit's with a nurse that goes to the patient home to give medical care and I said the same thing about having a emt units, that can respond to a call before the ambulance can to stablelize the patient first. Now we have fire units that do this now. 😮

General Schwarzkopf had live news briefings showing targeting videos of missiles dropping into some of the building through the skylights or directly into the windows . . . and that was 20-years ago, so yeah, our targeting IS that accurate - even more so these days.

Add the instant power cut off system that turns off the power before the wires touch the ground like Pacific Gas and Electric has done in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area.
