Took a 10 man squad of these in my army yesterday with a sanguinary priest. They were absolutely incredible during the game. Putting armour of contempt on them made them extremely survivable along with the 5+++ feel no pain from the priest. I normally run them in 2 squads of 5 to try and capture objectives but will run them in a 10 man squad from now on. They basically won me the game.
Last RTT list before the codex. The object of this list is to pressure up the board early take my opponents hit and have everything close enough punish him with the counter attack (Clapback) The Terminators token is always put towards the middle of the board closer to my deployment zone I clear out the middle in the first two turns to allow the terminators rapid ingress for free center board if needed. The Callidus Is used to up and down deep strike at least within 12 inches shut down any OverWatch or strategyms my opponent will want to use in defense of the clap back. From testing the durability has remained strong and I am having success in the later parts of the game. I do like using intercessors to sticky an objective home obj & have a jump unit being able to go either a no man’s land objective & home threat range my main struggle is dealing with torrents weapons Overwatch & fast attack armies like sisters or SW storm lance, I do need more shooting in my lists I’m like 1600 pts In melee & 400 for scoring & anti tank
I wony first game against a very good demons player who I've played many times. Tabled him using your advice. However I just losty second game against a necron list. He was very very inexperienced and quiet and then a player had a medical emergency a few tables over and the owners pullede in as I'm a nurse. So my head wasn't thinking and I lost by three points. But it was a great learning experience@@ba_commander
Unfortunately, I play a armor only guard opponent. I just cant normally go run up, charge a tank (Rogal Dorn) and take it out in one go. If i take 280 points of DC Marines to take out a 240 Rogal Dorn then im losing out on points, because the DC will be destroyed the next opponent turn.
@@ba_commander unfortunately not very blood angelsy. I use terminators as my bullet sponge, and try to out maneuver with anti tank weaponry. Thankfully my opponent (my brother) is starting to make a dark angel army. These tactics you have put forth will definitely be implemented against them.
@@pathartley1430 I play a tank heavy guard army "all tanks with basic infantry" .... jump Intercessors rarely get close enough to hit the tanks whole... most cases they get chewed up prior to even getting into charge range.
What about landraider with devastator centurions? Or just termies with chain fists? Drive up, jump out and charge the cheeky bugger. It does require an all in sort of push if you're going deep into the heart of the enemy though.

Would you recommend adding a Chaplain to them or a Captain? I already have a Captain leading my Company Heroes. And would you Go with one unit of 10 or 5/5? We mostly Play 1000 Points
Don't the DC Marines have OC 0 without a chaplain? How are they taking/holding the home objective? Did I miss something? My first BA game is coming up soon :-)
Very good tactical review John! What do you suggest for holding mid-field OBJ? I was thinking using my Land Raider Redeemer (the flamey one) filled with a 10 man squad infernos marines, and Apothacary Biologis.
I haven't played on the uktc distribution, but seeing the tables, aren't they very heavily focused into shooting? Like, sure, there are L's close to objectives, but there are very long and easy to get lines from very far away into all objectives.

That works. Impulsor and company heroes are my Go to.
Definitely not gonna get these ideas down but instead of using them for Blood Angels using them for World Eaters with Eightbound :)

Not many people care about whizzy wig anymore, I think model him any way you like. Powerfist is probably the safest choice though!
