I remember coming across a video of this one dude who said he passes up on Mouse because she has no potential. And me as a JA2 vet basically started salivating when I saw her stats and skills. Hands down one of the deadliest characters in the game if built properly. Easily keeps up with the likes of Reaper or Shadow.
Scouts are amazing. When people call snipers op in this game, I think they're actually having scouts in mind. These guys while prefer to stay on the lighter side in terms of equipment unlike their sluggish actual sniper counterparts, they pack a very painful punch combined with insane mobility and stealth. Like in most of the cases all you need is a headshot and available weapon choices provide enough damage without hampering your mobility. About your perk choice, overall I'd invest into Agility perks more, in Dexterity I'd pretty much only rushed for Sharpshooter, getting Deadeye and couple stealth attack perks along the way. Imo Reactive Fire is bad: 1. Will not trigger while Taking Cover but you want to stay in cover whenever they try to shoot you. You're too squishy and better off stay untouchable i.e. hidden. 2. Enemy actually has to miss against you the exposed target, then you must pass some check, then actually shoot aimless and hit the attacker. I can see you went for some interruption combo with your Dex perks but I don't think it's a great idea for scout considering you don't want to expose yourself with OW and sniper rifles generally have quite narrow OW cone.
Agreed for 1. Also, that's why I don't play with Mouse, My sneaky IMP does that job. Igor does the night Ops overwatch sharpshooting for me and cover my IMP in case cheat goes awry, Quick-scope FAMAS in hands. (Igor adores it when his weapon has a handler also. Tends to help him snipe his own way, those little things. If Mouse is left around ennemies going overwatch, then that means Mouse is really badly used. Have Igor instead. Also Grunty is a BOSS at night, though he's better off acting as the sharpshooting nightops bombardier, for the team. M-14 is a really good for this, while waiting for that FN-FAL that was made just for him (both bipod + grenade launcher is awesome, for Grunty.) Meaning, Igor can also do the stick throwing for Grunty, they're most excellent friends, those two. Amazing synergy, not even mentionning Buns as the team's point sniper. Buns, aka the "achiever sort of smiley", of course. Also yeah, I'd have some points in mechanic for a REALLY GOOD scout (let Livewire teach my IMP the rest, and also Barry to boot, so as to let me beloved Barry go OP mechagineer in mid-game), not aiming. Also my 'scout' (aka IMP) has shortened hi-power + aiming lvls giving +5% crit each perk. Best scout. Igor does the shooting. As Igor pretty much IS the best scout build, as far as Ira Smiths' absence in this game is concerned. Mechanics, yes, as scout is more likely to run into a closed door than an overwatching enemy while sneaking to reach that perfect spot, during the night at sniping distance where nobody can see here since she has the thief better perk (magnifying glass). Therefore, no Anita Backman on that sort of scout duty. That's not why Mouse is here. Mouse is short range based as all thiefs should be. Igor is long range (hence the agility gap between the two), even though he has melee skills as well, Igor Dolvich is a REALLY GOOD shoot.
I disagree that DEX is difficult to level up: 1 - Fox can train it really fast with her 100 DEX and Teaching skill (you can even bump her LDR with your 85 LDR / Teaching IMP first and it pays off) 2 - you actually get Field experience for DEX if you aim a lot (more then MRK) - not sure if prism scope free aim counts too though
There is no difference for inventory between 61 and 65 though so you may as well get 4 from their to somewhere else. And 5 hp not really all that big a difference unless and 60 can still qualify for tier 1 health perk if desired. 65 won't qualify for 2nd tier Vanguard unless you devour magazines or train up for it.
Not gonna lie, games like this I always think should have some kind of collapsible ladder consumable/equipment to get to higher elevation/rooftops for better overwatch/ scouting
Good video, dude, nothing new to me, my IMP merc is almost the same, just with 85 leadership and 80 dexterity, which is easy to learn to the 90 points you need for the latest perks, and the one thing i can suggest to anyone reading this, is to use the Minimi machine gun, instead of the FN FAL! xD
@@professorkatze1123 For the sniper is for the silenced job, and the fn fal isn't silenced anyway, and even with 4x burst can't take down a veteran brute with 120 health for example later in the game, while the Minimi can do it EZ, even the Dragunov can do it with it's 3x burst fire and the proper percs xD Also the FN FAL looses condition too much, especially in rain LOL
While I would say that Sharpshooter is a good ultimate skill, the points spent going for it are wasted on this class. You said it yourself: "I almost never overwatch", you never miss and everything is a one tap. So killzone and every point spent maxing Dexterity perks is wasted. Get Deadeye and Anatomical Precision instead to get that extra crit damage then you have 3 points to invest into health or strength. I play Sniper with an offhand shotgun, so i went for Killing Spree and Shock Assault instead.
@@hexxatgaming I'm not arguing the quality of those perks, I'm just saying that in order to get Sharpshooter you are speccing into overwatch which on a sniper like this you NEVER use. While Reactive Fire is a good skill (free dmg/ no Overwatch needed) Sharpshooter and Killzone are overkill and those points are better spend elsewhere
i just found you on youtube and love your content. can you help me please? i'm a newbie with these games and i played for a lot of hours now, cleared 75% of the map but I'm only level 5-6 with all my mercs, how do you get to level 9-10 the fastest way?
Ayache worked hard to edit this video! Drop likes to appreciate her work! Thanks 😊
Good job Aya.

Nice Video! Frog Movement is crazy!
Please do more build. Your video make me wanna start a new playthrough right away
Great stuff thank you! I think you got the best JA3 vids out there.
Thanks brother 🙏
Great stuff Hex, im enjoying your playthrough. :) Thanks.

Subbed I love solo play in every game
PSG-1 is a ruthless weapon, but it would be nice if there was more of a variety of weapons
Awesome video! Keep up!
Awesome video bro. Will follow you for more of it.

What is this death stranding now lol

na. the fal is more flexible and the minimi cant use silencers. the rpk can tho

Yea I made my IMP like that but the results this guy is getting with mouse and those custom guns is insane
Where is the first place to obtain PSG you are using please ?
If you go to the colonel's camp before they set you up. After talking to him you can get a PSG1 from one of the quartermasters.
Light spoilers:
You can also get one during the Diesel quest and I found one (random drop?) in one of the farmlands in the SE of the map
Thanks !
I found one at the factory (K14) in one of the containers

Reactive fire is great. And with killzone when they miss you they die. ;)

Can you do the updated melee build?
i just found you on youtube and love your content. can you help me please? i'm a newbie with these games and i played for a lot of hours now, cleared 75% of the map but I'm only level 5-6 with all my mercs, how do you get to level 9-10 the fastest way?
Hi, welcome to the channel! Fastest way to level is to do side missions. Talk to everyone you possibly can and get quests.
@@hexxatgaming thank you for helping me out, i really appreciate that.
9 perks?! I finish game arround 6 perks, u grind somehow this or what?
You skipped a lot of side quests?
A grenadier and explosives specialist would be a fun challenge 😅
Just play melee with nades works great
Mine is Barry Unger - love his special charges!!!!
I believe rain lags due to the sound somehow.
is this a new merc or you rebuild previews melee-merc by some mod ?
I wish there's a mod to do that. I leveled 1-10 multiple characters by playing normally to make content for you guys!
How did you get 17 AP?
High agility and high morale
I wonder if it's possible to develop any of the AIM Mercs into the Scout or the Melee character? I kinda wanna have both builds on my team.
Ivan is really good if not the best melee character.
@@hexxatgaming Oh rly, I got him and Dr. Q on my team atm, I will test them out.
Ivan eh? Interesting I was thinking Q, blood, and nails.
Did you purposely choose Mouse for this build
That's a IMP character. Im using a mod that allows to use her skin. Strictly for visuals/sound. Its linked in the description.
@@hexxatgaming ooooooh ok do you have any good pistol builds
@@hexxatgaming also fantastic job on the video
At the moment, pistols and smgs are rather underwhelming. I suspect they might receive a buff in the upcoming patches (hopefully).
You make it look so ez & boring at the same time xD
disgusting... I like it!
