Learn to ride moto trials! Trials riding must be the best kept secret in the world of motorbikes. Visit your local moto-trials club and chat with some trials training fanatics today. For some reason trials riding (or observed trials) is only big in Europe and Britian. Elsewhere there are just a handful of trials clubs in each country such as Western Districts Trials club. In Australia about one thousand riders compete, - in Europe hundreds of thousands compete regularly. Trial riders compete in all sorts of weather conditions! Unlike most other forms of motorcycle sport, Trial is not racing. This introduction to trials techniques explains why trials riders are so glad they are in on the secret - we reckon you should be too! Get into these trials training vids. Competitors will ride over an obstacle course of boulders, streams, hill climbs, logs, drop offs, and nearly anything else they can find. There are trials classes for everyone. Our trials training vids and written articles on observed trials techniques are thanks to the Western Districts Trials Club for their riders and expertise in putting together these trials training vids - Tom Wager, Ruben Chadwick and James Wager in particular! Your arms will be almost straight but don't lock your elbows as you will still need to steer. As the descents get steeper, put some of your balancing practice into action and go as slow as possible - this will be very handy when it gets very steep. Get into these trials training vids. From Juniors of 16 years of age - down to barely walking, through to Veterans from 40 to 70+. And did you know that trials is the world's most popular participatory motorcycle sport? There are trials classes for everyone. Speed and other competitors are not factors likely to cause incidents, so the sport of trials remains very safe. Very few injuries are sustained due to the low speeds and "one at a time" use of sections by moto trials competitors. Learn to ride moto trials! haxaar that sounds pretty harsh haxaar. australia only has a very small trials riding community so our expert class isn't going to be the same as europe's.
