  • In 2016, the 12-time trial World Champion Dougie Lampkin became the first person to successfully complete the iconic 37.7 mile Isle of Man TT course in the UK on just one wheel. Who better to explain how to wheelie than the wheelie king himself?
    This tutorial is the first in a series of master tip videos with Dougie Lampkin. The "how to wheelie" master tip is available for everyone to watch, but the next master tip videos will be available exclusively to Club Jitsie members.

    Good tech... funny... I've never grabbed the front brake.... but I'm doing this on a regular bike. Getting a Gas Gas soon:-) Can't wait.

    Awesome to know about the front brake. I may have to try that in my next practice session.

    Interesting tip about the front tire spinning. I always tap the front brake during wheelies for some reason too.

      It's seems to be very difficult not to put pressure on the front brake when wheelieing.

    My parents don’t get mad when I break the mud guard. But I’m 45 years old. You’d think I’d have this by now.

    whats the reason that its very difficult to wheelie more than 500m without the front wheel spinning? anyone else suprised he had a motor in the front wheel on the isle of man wheelie?

    • @Jitsietrials
      @Jitsietrials  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, when the frontwheel is spinning, it adds stability to your bike. Watch the "wheelieman" documentary on Red Bull for more info about Dougie's wheelie bike.
