Hope you do not mind me dropping a tip here,, Here goes, For the microfibre I go to the local tip and get for free, for the colour I put " Dylon clothes die in a bucket as per instructions but - the salt. I find Forest green to be the best colour, then soak it as per instructions, drain it off, I use a mop bucket, then put to dry thoroughly dont throw out the die just yet !!! Next I put very , very fine sawdust in the bucket that I get from a local sawmill again for free, This I use for cheap scatter, good luck to all the vids are superb and great ideas, best regards
That came out very nice
+Dj Arlia Thank you! 👍
Looks good. Did you consider coloring the polyfil with the umber instead of the green?
+Kevin Bergeman Intresting! Sounds to me like you color it with umber? Do you pictures posted somewhere, which you csn link to?
+marklinofsweden I have not ever colored white polyfil, but I have used both purchased green and purchased black polyfil. I have found the darker results, in my opinion, a better looking tree/canopy.
are they good trains? They sure look detailed!
greetings from finland!
+märklin fani Hello Finland! Good to hear you liked the video! (y)
Another brilliant tutorial, but would look better if the fibre was coloured much darker, probably a dark brown (umber + black?) The light green looks completely unnatural. But structure is really good!
I think that method be good enough for my layout with a big mountains and a dense forrest thicket. Mont d'Or on a France-to-Swiss frontier. Thanks a lot!
