My years of going to drive In diners were from the 1970's as a kid and there aren't too many around anymore but it was usually a Bacon Burger, a Dr. Pepper, fries and a vanilla milkshake but still thanks for the great delicious memories of the past.🍔🥤🍟🍦
This, was Back in the Day, when All Fast Food Restaurants had Affordable Prices, Delicious Food, Excellent Service, Given the Right Orders, Service with a Smile 😃, and they Said Thank You. I, also Miss the Drive in Restaurants, I also Don't like the Drive Through Windows on the Side of the Fast Food Restaurants. 4:00
I’d just remember as a child in the 80’s up to the early 90’s when drive-in’s were still wasn’t hard to find and a couple of 50’s-60’s burger joints was still available. The food was in many ways superior than now days and still was reasonably priced around $5.00-$7.00 (at a 50’s-60’s burger joint) for a 1/2 pound bacon cheeseburger with a lot of hot very tasty fries, with a bottomless soda and darned good shakes/malts. Just what a growing young boy needed to stay full for at least an hour before needing a snack before bed time. And since I was growing up at 1 1/2 inches a month I needed the calories and I was still skinny. Those were the good old days when I could eat like that and not have to worry about my weight. If anyone has or knows of a time machine, please let me know. Thanks 😎
I have no idea what planet this was made on. I quit after 5 minutes, having not heard the tw magic words. What two magic words? TH-cam up "freddie cannon palisades park" and listen to where they ate. Was it a fried chicken stand? No, was it a hamburger stand? Nope. That and a glass of Coca-Cola was THE fun food of choice. The "Dreamcicle" you mentioned was actually called an "orange freeze". By the 1960's the "root beer float" had evolved into the more generic "ice cream soda". The fried chicken bucket was not a thing until the mid '60's and the hamburger you understand today was not a thing until at least 1963 or 4. I should know, I'm 79

My roommate worked at A&W when they still wore roller skates, lol.
I worked at a soda fountain as a teen, and it was a blast!
I loved the real cherry cokes back then!😊
I remember on many Sundays after church we would go as a family to kfc get a bucket meal and go to the park and have a picnic.
Where's the chili dogs? A&W made the best served with an ice cold frosty mug of root beer was just about perfect.
Not to mention the fried onion rings!
Those Root Beer floats were the bomb back in the day too!😊

KFC had spectacular country style barbecued chicken in the '60s and '70s. YUMMY YUM YUM. The Colonel knew what he was doing.
In Ontario Canada the cheeseburger with bacon was known as the Banquet Burger.
That was back when KFC had decent chicken and good customer service.
Pork tenderloin and onion rings
I love these vids

I never eat in my car.
🤮 gross.
I even have an issue with having cooked food in my car 🤷🏼♀️
As I always say, to each his own ❤
