I used to sing with a ministry team that sang many of these patriotic songs (Battle Hymn) in production...same arrangement written by Derric Johnson...and still to this day watch these videos and find myself singing along. Glorious voices and arrangements!
I was able to see Voices of Liberty perform there in the 80's. I was stationed in Cape Canaveral at the time, and my Nana came for a visit. I can attest to the fact that the sound beneath the dome is simply breathtaking! I remember vividly the feeling of pride I experienced. There's a singular "woke" instant in this performance that irritates the crap out of me, but it doesn't negate the awesomeness of the rest of the production. For what it's worth, I'm not really a fan of the costuming, I much prefer the 18th and 19th century ones.
