- After witnessing many of The Qatari Miri air force F-15QA's performances at the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford last week then it was only right to make the most of their presence in the UK and hop over to the Farnborough International airshow for more. We were able to position ourselves near the jets getting prepped and started up prior to their displays which is pretty rare these days.

The F-15 is overlooked a bit, but it is an absolutely classic design. Plus more nimble than it looks. Great footage!

I’m amazed with several of these maneuvers considering the F-15QA doesn’t have thrust vectoring. Big props to the QEAF pilots too!
I was going to say the same thing. It maneuvers just as good or better than a SU-35 and doesn’t have thrust-vectoring - amazing !
American Boeing pilots are flying these jets currently
These guys are Boeing Test Pilots. QEAF pilots won't be doing these maneuvers any soon.
That's due to new Fly-by-wire system I think

Pretty insane to see the F-15 pull those kind've high alpha moves without LEFs... that's some real aerodynamic engineering! Great video!
Great video. I live a few miles from Farnborough and was at the nearby trading estate on a practice day when the skies were clear ( sadly not the case during most of the show days when clouds prevented us from getting our usual great view from the garden) , and saw this beauty performing some amazing manoeuvres . I like to think the pilot that day dipped its wings when i saluted as it flew pretty low overhead 😁

I don’t recall ever seeing an F-15 get thrown around quite that hard before.
And they were pretty chill getting out of the jet after that exceptional flying, just another day at the office.

Pretty cool to see these in the air again with a fresh coat of paint. Still one of the brute force airframes with old school grunt, though some of those maneuvers made me wince a bit. Might be useful for emergency fuel dumping without liquid ejection. 🔥

An awe-inspiring bird, to say the least. I call this the “Sukhoi eater”. They need to put a shark mouth on the front like a classic P-40 Warhawk, that would look awesome. Long live the F-15 Eagle. 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

They should put canards on it too, just like the NASA prototype had. This would make it maneuver even faster.

@@flashy5150The "professionals" say the same thing. Adding canards doesn't improve performance enough to justify the added cost, weight & complexity, plus they increase it's radar signature.
@@jonesey2 Its radar signature is a dead giveaway anyways. It’s a generation 4 fighter, easily seen on radar.
