Also I would recommend if u have a truck and no driver take some time to do the job yourself. It’s much easier to relate to your drivers and dispatchers concerns if you have experienced them yourself.

On my first load, I really wouldn’t know what I’m doing. I would probably want someone going with me for the first few loads and I would pay them of course for their time.
Just walk into the shipper, tell them you are here to pick up load # 123xyz and they will tell you what to do...it's incredibly basic. Make sure you take pictures of your loaded truck. Be polite and respectful to everyone you work with.

Go to your local credit union, get pre approved, get a bill of sale from the private seller, give the bill of sale to your loan officer, loan officer then gives you a check for the purchase of truck, give the check to the truck owner, and now you own the truck

You need a place to park your truck when it's not on the road. Lot rent can be expensive, depending on where you're working out of.

Dispatcher sends me Rate Con and BOL. Driver takes picture of BOL and sends it to my dispatcher first for review.
