Ohhh good to know information. Thanks for sharing! I just hope I don’t ever have to do this with the BLDCs I’m using for the generators in my Tesla turbine electric Generator. But you’ve got me covered now if i do!!

I have a 3500 kv traxxas brushless motor. I was running my stampede 4x4 in a big open grass area when it suddenly slowed down. I got it back to me and right as it got to me it completely stopped. It turned out the rotor let go of one of the magnets. When I pulled the motor open I was surprised to find that the magnet had simply come loose and hadn’t shattered. I need to get some epoxy and Kevlar thread but I should actually be able to fix it.

Right on, if you can repair the rotor that would be great. If not, I'm sure you can get a new rotor for your motor from traxxas.

@@RCexplained I looked, unfortunately you can't get rotors for the newer motors. Mine is the newer 4 pole variant. You could get rotors for the older 2 pole variants but not the 4 pole ones.

The disassembly of HET is not correct,You should open the cover on the shaft side.

Mach from Mach EDF? What HET motor have you pulled open from the front side? I have a few old 700-68, 700-75, 700-83 motors in front of me now. I'm puzzled as to what you have done as there are only rear side caps. No front side caps.
