As a new player I found warrior spell breaker really easy to pick up slapping in pvp alot and pve feels a breeze but damn this class is a struggle for me I just don't understand what's going on and alot more key binds to worry about I am determined tho as looks fun to play
This seems cool but is also not finger friendly. Theres so much stance dancing and eyeballing CD timers it takes away from the actual gameplay. Any suggestions on how to make this not so neurotic?
@@LeMondeDeJudge definately not correct every team ran at least 1 herald when raids were first released lfg was littered with them they were a must have in raids and t4 fractals solid damage good boon duration buff at the time diviners was not a thing so herald helped keep quickness and Alac up indirectly. And great CC. Best of all it was beginner friendly just auto and use your 2 of cool down on sword and you do damage.
I normally use sword 4 once in shiro with impossible odds because you can use it while autoattacking and using sword 2 off cooldown without running out of energy before glint comes back off cooldown
exteremly dumb question, but what do you mean by f2 passive. do you mean when it comes off cool down or is there something in the buff/debuff bar i'm missing. thanks or the video/guide.
Hi Vallun. I'd like to play support for a WvW small group. I always roam with 3 or at most 4 friends and wanted to be a useful support but not a full minstrel as a zerg build with no mobility. Which spec/build do you recommend? I thought of Druid, Vindicator or Tempest. But I wanted your opinion before investing a lot of gold, I can't go wrong twice haha
Would it be better to consume Facet of Strength then go into sword 4 and 5 then Facet of Elements and Facet of Chaos to round out the support build portion for Glint? That damage buff from Facet of Strength can really help bump up the damage of already hard-hitting skills. I might be a support but I'm a offensive support, right?
Thanks for the amazing Guide! Can someone help a noob understand something better? I don't quite get how Facet of the Nature works. Or more so the active ability True Nature. Because i can press it once and it will then extend all boon durations by 3 seconds and re-apply that every 3 seconds while draining 2 of my energy. So i want to use all the other facets first to extend the boon duration they give with it right? What do i do with the second cast of True Nature then? Also how does quickness work? If i use a facet and extend the quickness duartion by 3 seconds what happens with the quickness i apply with all the other facets? Do they just refresh it or does the duration increase for every time i give quickness again? Thanks in advance if anyone reads through this ❤
boons stack in duration, you can't increase a specific duration identity, you just have qucikness and any extensions are on your pool of that boon. F2 passively extends boon durations, but due to the grandmaster trait that gives quickness it can also provide that passive for 6 seconds after using the active. For optimal boon uptime you can use the active shortly before using the other actives because they would still get the boon duration while you use the extension
@@Vallun I tested going to shiro while still having the quickness in mind and I managed to get 100% uptime! Well at least on me. This is really a good qpds build!
The DPS version is absolutely legit, however, the support quickness build is just so dayum good its hard for me to justify playing DPS unless of course the supports / healers have everything covered.
Carrying Dragonic Echo doesn't make sense, in squads there are already people giving quicknees so I don't see the point of losing damage for a blessing that you are going to have active most of the time.
When was the last time you puged fractals? Being able to carry quickness for a personal 2k dps loss is such a big dps increase for everyone (including yourself because you have more quickness uptime) that it's worth having traited almost permanently. I only ever go full dps in raid scenarios where players are more competent at support roles.
this is a good build but another terrible class design.... classes shouldnt spam skills to upkreep buffs... utility skills should be situational skills for special situations and never part of a rotation
This is confusing as hell like you did a great job with the video but its information overload. You should do basic guides and then in depth guides because for someone who wants to start out 90% will get about 5-7m into this video and go oh hell nah. I feel like I need an in game coach to actually learn this build lol
@@xnitropunkx it really isnt. not everyone is looking to learn the basics, so if i make every video go over the basics its a huge waste of time for some people. Instead I cover a specific topic so i can be concise and let the basic guides be the intro gateway to the other ones. I'm sure you can understand other people's point of views
@@thefaisman8956 i used to use paralyzation but then learned that CC gets rounded when modified, so its only useful to take paralyzation when using long CCs, not with staff 5 where it hits small amounts but multiple times
GW2 should list you as one of their national treasures. Cant thank you enough!
I've been loving quickness herald and even geared it for two setups, a dps and a heal variant for group content.
still complicated to learn, but YOUR work here is great ! Thank you.
I love your revenant videos because I main it, it's always nice to hear your insight on builds. Keep up the good content

Good music choice

play quickness spellbreaker instead, 3 banners instead of double tapping 6 facets
I'm so glad the Herald spec came back with all the buffs in PvE, it was a trash spec before.
Boon herald has been good for a few years before that !
@@ViviLouF no it was very low in damage and above all it gave no quickness which is a major change.

I can’t maintain Force of Nature and activate impossible odds. Did something change?

vind
I always see the quickness version with pieces of assassin and Diviner pieces mixed in. How do you feel about that vs full berserker?
you dont need anything but zerk if you stay in glint longer, which in actual fights is usually pretty convenient to do while doing mechanics

ideally yes, but since its low cooldown you want to use it asap to get out as many as possible
What do you think about a quickness Support spellbraker? Does nearly same and more easy to Play ? I m unsure…
check the builds on guildjen.com there are options for it, but a healer is not going to be as effective as a dps variant
This was very helpful, thanks! Question: what's that awesome remix at the end? (from ff7 right?)
yes its a remix on the song "you can hear the cries of the planet" by ocremix like a revenant hearing voices in their head xD

@@Vallun Amazing thats all i needed to know.
Thank you so much for taking the time to answer :D keep up the good work!
Is the quickness uptime 100%?
it is if you prioritize giving quickness instead of being in shiro off cooldown
@@Vallun I tested going to shiro while still having the quickness in mind and I managed to get 100% uptime! Well at least on me. This is really a good qpds build!
Wouldn’t celestial be best all around for boon duration?
the point of the build is still provide solid DPS while applying boons, with celestial your damage tanks.
Do you have enough boon duration in full zerker gear?
yes you do have enough boon duration in actual fights if you dont instantly swap to shiro, watch the olc cm attempt
if you want more dps can hammer work?
hammer isn't more dps than swords, but if you need CC from range it can be good, but usually staff cc is better anyway
Can you use a great sword with this build cause I wanna use herald but I really like great swords though
only vindicator
Is this good for solo open world?
isnt bad for sure but isnt designed for it
Celestial herald is super good for open world
nope
why don't you add the skill generator links in your descriptions?
there is?

I prefer condi but power looks great also
Adam, what's the value of Condi vs. Power?
How TF can you see anything that's happening?
Everyone and everything is WAY too bright.
That's what I hate about fractals, stacking is stupid.
