  • Join us as legendary guitarist Peter Frampton takes us on a journey back to his school days, where he formed a close friendship with none other than David Bowie!
Discover the fascinating story of how Peter and David, used to bring their guitars to school and jam during lunchtime. Little did they know that these early moments of musical exploration would lay the foundation for a lifelong connection.
After years of fame in the 70s, fast forward to 1987, where Peter received a life-changing phone call from David himself. Find out from Peter first hand how David's invitation to join his band as a guitarist not only fulfilled a lifelong dream but also gave Peter's faltering career the kickstart it desperately needed.
As Peter shares his standout memories from the tour, including the details of the monumental production behind it, with over 250 crew members and 40 trucks, making it the biggest production Peter had ever been a part of.
Peter also reflects on the incredible freedom and trust that David gave him on stage, allowing him to flex his musical prowess during extended guitar solos. From iconic songs like "Let's Dance" to the unforgettable finale of "Loving the Alien," Peter's raw talent and unique style shine through.

Great interview, congrats! I've always loved Peter's melodic style and in every interview he seems like a genuinely nice guy. Peter shined on that epic Glass Spiders tour.

Saw the Glass Spider tour at Schaefer Stadium (Patriots) in Foxboro, MA. Peter did one of his song in the middle of the set. It was an awesome show! A huge spectacle. Great performances.

frampton was never supposed be be a STAR
it was just a happy accident of material, radio formats, and summertime
but he was NEVER a strong writer with Camel or Marriot
and we saw that with the follow up........he had NOTHING
and it was surprising at the time because it SEEMED like he had an endless series of things to play and jam over
    but he didn't
he is really limited in a jarring way
he plays well, but he has NOTHING beyond Frampton Comes Alive
even KISS had stronger material than Frampton
