I bought a 24 colorado trail boss recently. I've owned a few v8 trucks over the years. The power this 2.7l turbo creates is crazy. I love it.

a co-worker has a Colorado 24 Trail Boss in white. it's a nice looking ride.
This is exactly how I would spec this truck. The Trail Boss Colorado looks so much better with the skid plate package, with that disgusting air dam removed! Let’s go!!

For 44k I’d be afraid to chance breaking it in the woods. The price needs to be 32k brand new tbh and the 1500 Silverado trail boss needs to be 42k brand new. The 2500 needs to be 52k brand new. That’s how the pricing should be in that order

I bought my 2023 Colorado trail boss for Msrp priced around 44,700.00 loaded with full surround camera pkg,cruise control,275/ 65R18 mud tires on custom 18' black wheels and skid plate.
I have driven the truck on most logging roads from max patch in madison county,nc and on.most logging roads in northeast Tennessee in greenvile,erwin and hampton areas. Also have driven my trail boss truck up by atkins,va on state forestry rd 86 glade mtn road and up above marion on several gravel mountain roads going over into.poor valley and burkes garden valley uo by tazwell,va. It goes good in 4x2 mode because the G80 locker kicks in when the rear wheels break loose traction on them bumpy logging roads. The trail boss does better then the 2023 tacoma TRD OR truck that i owned for 2 month's before trading it in on my 2023 Colorado trail boss truck.
But i am vert tempted to sell my trail boss ans but a 2024 Colorado ZR 2 wirh the bison off road package on it list for around 62 grand where as the 2024 gmc canyon AT4 with AEV pkg sells for 66 grand.
I think the GMC Canyon in Elevation trim comes with more features standard for around the same price.
No low range in the transfer case as far as I know though.

I’ve seen reviews of this model on other channels and it’s pretty capable off road, but I would definitely upgrade the tires to KO2’s .
KO2s are hands down best AT out there. And I love that BF made the KO3

Actually very competitive compared to Tacoma and ranger pricing.
The 2024 Tacoma trd off road wirh premium pkg is 51 grand. That is insane price jump from last years model.
Really enjoy mine. Nitro Yellow '23. It has everything except the dark essentials package and the evotex seats (fake leather).
Power seat, adaptive cruise, heated mirrors, 360 camera, damped tailgate with the storage. 20" wheels with all terrain bridgestones. No bed liner so i bought a mat and a toneau. What isnt talked about too often is the suite of safety features too. Cross traffic alert. Pedestrian alert. Collision alert or assist. Lane keep assist. People want to say these trucks are devoid of features and are glorified W/Ts. Maybe, but you can option it out nicely. Mine had msrp 43k.
Rides great, brakes are fantastic, def moves, and feels like it would climb Everest.

That actually isn't a bad price for what you're getting. Has everything a normal truck driver needs has the full digital dash.
I want this truck! but I'd also like a sunroof and remote start, is that optional for the TrailBoss? It wasn't in the 23' version that I know of. That's the exact color I'd want to, disapointed this year the standard tail gate stoage is no longer standard, but it's not something I can't live without!
Yes it is available for 23. I have a 23 in this exact color and I was able to get the remote start added by the dealership. However, fog lights, are not available at this time but will be down the road

Out of curiosity, how many people would prefer a 3.5 V-6 over the 4 cylinder turbo if it made the same HP?
Yeah idk it just feels weird to me been comparing the new ranger to this and seem like the ford might be built better but it's alot more expense with less features.
Have you driven a turbo 4?

The trail boss is meant to be a budget off-roader. If you want one decked out with all the amenities, get the Canyon AT4.

The 2o24 gmc canyon AT4 msrp sticker price is almost 57 grand.

Love mine 36k. Everything I need options wise. After all people bitch about power seats. It's mine not yours. Set it once done. Cruise control not needed. 99% of the I've never used it in any vehicle. Different strokes I reckon. Buy a Ridgeline😂😂😂

@@n0xxm3rcyxx the little engine isn't what it think it is. In all seriousness, you should check out what they put these through in testing. And that's for the larger full sized trucks. Has more power and torque than the v6 by a mile.

Seems like the true purpose of the PICK UP has been lost. Not a Trail vehicle if you pay 44k and finance it ending up at 50 + are you really going to bang it up in the woods? Just because you call a Honda accord a trail boss does not make it one. Want to go in the woods, buy an old two door jeep and strip it. Marketing, watch for it...

Lol you don’t even have a V8,,,, I’ve seen those trucks they have tripple the plastic than this truck, I love the size of my Colorado Trail Boss, not to big not small, if I need a full size I have my 02 Silverado that I bought new, mid size trucks way easier and more fun to drive with serious power!
