We arrived to the Jenny Lake area midday on a Sunday in June - while it was so crowded we were happy to find a spot in the parking lot! We took the Jenny Lake Boat Shuttle across Jenny Lake and Hiked to Hidden Falls- Cascade Canyon is SO INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL!!! We made it almost all the way to Inspiration Point!

This is one of the things I didn’t have time to do. I wanted to take my own kayak across. Was worried about where i would put it while I hiked. I hear they have a good amount of bears on those hikes due to wild berries that grow around there. So beautiful! Unfortunately I cancelled the trip I had planned up there this year. This video made me happy as it may be a while before I can get back there.
There are always so many things we miss, it's just impossible to do everything! I remember your video and I think it's the first time I had heard of Jenny Lake- so thank you!!! In this case, I preferred to hike where there were lots of people, because of the bear risk. I'm so sorry to hear you had to cancel. I hope all is well!!! Have a great week!
This lake looks so pretty. Living in IL, we don’t have much mountain backdrop here in IL. Holy cow, this place is busy. What a peaceful boat ride.
I wouldn’t want to fall in that creek. Great tip on elevation. The falls was huge. The view point looks like a postcard.

That lake is gorgeous along with the surrounding scenery! I'm not surprised it's so popular. Good thing you didn't have walk too far to see the falls, though I'd have never guessed it was around 2000m high! I live at sea level, so certainly would have been a challenge. I can see where Inspiration point get it's name from 😂 Good thing you were able to recover your hat.
