    Been riding for 29 years and never thought about the feet controlling the bike. I just learned about the counter steer thing a couple of years ago lol. Guess I should have took some lessons when I was a kid. Thanks for the tip, now that I consciously use the floor boards for control in the twisties I can see the big difference. Great Idea about cutting the rear peg in half. When I switch to your boards i'll definitely pair them up with a set of your pegs. Thanks again and keep on making great stuff for our bikes!

      @@An_Enraged_Pig lol I know right. I bought an 86 FXRS-SP and just started riding it. Thought that experience was all you need. Then a couple years ago I came across a TH-cam video of a professional bike racer who opened up my eyes and I've been watching instructional videos ever since.

    I got a extended shift lever for heel shifting so it’s behind the footboard and just above it. So much nicer than having to lift you leg. Same principle as the foot brake. Lower it down so you can get to it fast if need be, and just comfort in general. Nice stuff guys!

    Madness I tell you! Buy the cheaper special if you want to change all of the parts. CVO’s are already modified and loaded with all the upgraded parts from Harley. If you don’t want those parts it makes no sense to buy the bike that already has those parts factored into the sticker price 🤷🏼‍♂️

    • @THRASHIN
      @THRASHIN  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We love many of the upgrades and the specialness of the CVO... some parts on the bike are rad and there is some room for improvement on the others. Thanks for watching!

      Those were my thoughts as well. I was really wondering what would be difference in getting the RG special and modifying it vs paying for CVO and removing those parts. I’m still learning.

    That wrecked spongy feeling is purposeful lol. To damper the bumps for long highway cruising. Which is what a bagger is for, cruising! Hahahahaha reminds me of these make over specialist that change something just for the sake of change. No thanks hard pass.

    • @deltaecho1776
      @deltaecho1776 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Have you ridden without the dampened boards? Idk about twincam and earlier but on my m8 it made zero difference. And yes I ride long distance. If the vibration is so terrible hard mounted then why does everyone have hard mounted highway pegs..

    • @scottcampbell1566
      @scottcampbell1566 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Controlled Chaos the hard mounted highway pegs have rubber absorption pads as well. The good ones anyway. There’s two types out there. Form or function. Now if you just don’t like the other pads looks fine I get that. Taste is taste. But to say they ride better hahahahaha zero chance except to the rookie or novice.

    • @deltaecho1776
      @deltaecho1776 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I have ridden on both kinds, rubber and not, and there is zero difference in vibration. Sounds like there is zero chance you have even compared the two and are giving a one sided comparison.

    • @scottcampbell1566
      @scottcampbell1566 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Controlled Chaos I’ve ridden plenty in my day. I still do. I once too valued form over functionality. Never again lol. And to make such a wack statement tells me you haven’t! That and you say in your video and I quote “ it feels wrecked” you go on to say you get more control from your flat no shock absorbing pads. So how can you now claim they’re the same? Hahahahaha they’re not even close. I’ve rode those type pads and they are horrible. That’s keeping it nice

    • @deltaecho1776
      @deltaecho1776 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      ...This isn’t even my video or products 🤦🏼‍♂️
