RhinoKabuterimon is another good lv5 digimon which allow to evolve to Tyrant just for a cost of 3 while attacking. This mean, you can attack, evolve, it doesn't meter if you pass turn or no, because you evolve for 3 to tyrant, activate tyrant when digivolve effect to play shiva. And then activate End of turn tyrant to also activate shiva effects. Is a good combo imo. Also I'm thinking to add some digimon emperor, just because there are going to be a lot of ukkomon
Absolutely! This build doesn't cover the green hybrid aspect because that would have been another whole deck profile in itself! The big thing still is no matter how we do it, Shiva will always cost us 4 memory as well in addition to our evo. So it's either one of two things. Have the mega pre-set up in raise or be prepared to pass a lot of memory.
@@DIGI-PANDA yes i think the same. The thing of Rhinokabuterimon is, even if you don't run hybrids is a good lv5 because the requirement for the evo lv3 while attacking also cover insects in the traits. The only dawnside it doesn't have inherited
Very excited for this deck! A lot of the high end Insectoid Digimon look so cool and really support my desire to have big, powerful monsters that are hard to deal with! The comments are giving me a lot of ideas to try too!
For sure! I try to create videos with discussion on other elements because while I can research and playtest different options, our card pool grows bigger with each set. There's always a gem that's unturned.
I personally like the tech of BT8 Digmon and BT8 Climbmon. Digimon’s Armor Purge is a nice defensive parallel to the suspended defense the other champions offer, and a -3000 debuff on an opponent can pick off rookies or even stack with your other DP bonuses to even the playing field further. Then, if you evolve from Digmon into Climbmon, you can pop something back to hand. I currently run four of both in my bug deck
I like to use the ST Rapidmon as a lv5 right now, gives the security-trashing effect on All Turns, de-digivolves something and gains protection from being deleted or bounced in case your opponent wants to use an option on it. Not sure if I'll still run it when BT16 comes but it's a fun one to consider
@@DIGI-PANDA "I'm using the ST Rapidmon as a level 5 because of its protection. I'm also running the Terriermon engine in the rookies. I'm also playing MegaGargomon Ace because it's an absolute bomb. Then I found that all these Insectoids were getting in the way of my Rapidmon synergies so I cut them. My Insectoid deck is looking great!"
Personally gonna be running a Grandis variant of the deck. Using the EX1 Tentomon I can swing twice with Grandis and reduce my next evo by 2 to go into Tyrant for free on the Grandis
This is another variant I kind of wanted to explore! I don't know if I would be doing the Grandis and Tyrant necessarily in the same build but it could work!
Personally I prefer the Kuwaga and Ookuwamon package, for suspending the enemy, peirceing and cheaper evo to lv6. I dont actually use MegaKarbu ace. Also the sec trash megakarbu
Partially, because there's so much blast digivolution now, I'm more concerned about keeping my bodies on board than some other effect. Zudomon ACE was wrecking me in playtesting, especially against my Shivamon ha ha. Not discounting it, I'm still going through the trial and error process.
Personnally i run the old argomon egg as the fifth egg as it very rarely opponents can remove most of your digimon when suspended so free extra mem every turn And another lvl3 i like using is the new kunemon which suspends itself on play to search top 3 for a green card and a good starting 2nd by evoing into kabuteri and letting your opponent stew whether you have your ace or not
Excellent choices as well! The extra memory can be useful! I'm seeing some players already torn between 4 ofs for Nyaromon or Motimon. As for searching, it's a smidge awkward with this deck because of the expectation to play your high level insectoids from hand.
Sadly, I think there are only a handful of Digimon that can stay in the tribal theme. Greymon, Garurumon, Veedramon, and Armor are some of the decks that can do it. But in regards to other colors, I feel like yellow goes Patamon and Gatomon in the same build, while green almost rarely has enough unless you're strictly staying plant/vegetation. Though Terriermon got a huuuuge upgrade as well.
This makes me excited to upgrade this year. Thanks for the starting point!
You're very welcome! I might explore a Grandiskuwagamon list next!

Definitely an option if you need it to remove flood gates!

Love the protection! The only downside with using ST17 Rapidmon is that it's a cyborg and won't be played off Tyrantkabuterimon's effect.
@@DIGI-PANDA Yeahhh this is why I'm reconsidering for BT16 😅

Just saying, the Green Hybrid is pretty good too 😎
I'm looking forward to your build :3 Great work on the Knights!
Kokabuterimon It is the quintessential incete at lv3
But why couldn't it be Kokuwamon :(
@@DIGI-PANDA Cause he's level 3 from the tyrantkabuterimon
A friend of mine is looking for this! also what's the song in background?
I can confirm that the background song is Digimon's World Next Order theme for the Machinedramon battles. Hope it helps!
Digimon World Next Order - Machinedramon Battle Theme!
There's an extended version floating around on TH-cam somewhere.
Snimon reminds me of wormon
In some ways, I feel like insectoid Digimon are all related.
Valkyrimon Deck Next? I am starving for ideas.
Probably in a few weeks! I'm looking at tackling some of more well known popular decks first!
