BT16 drops tomorrow and I'm definitely excited for some of these decks to make into the meta. With this deck profile, it utilizes arguably the longest named card in the Digimon Card game and hopefully this provides some inspiration or foundation on what the deck might look like moving into the next format. Afterall, the earliest D-Brigade builds were very aggro. BT14 brought some defensive elements but now we have some real control elements to go with.

I can't believe how much control it can do now! Before it was very linear with being the aggressor or walling up but now it can do a lot of emotional damage.
Remember, call a judge if your D-Police opponent dosen't declare the full name of the card they are playing.

My favorite new card "My wife looking disappointedly at her Step-sons because they won't let her son play with them". There are a bunch other names I call it but that's the simpliest one. Ryuudamon just can't hold a gun so the Commandramon worry about him.
I honestly wish Ryudamon was better.. there are a few ways I think they could've made it good but damn.

2. Memes aside, I actually still prefer trainings to the new option as reducing the cost of digivolving up the stack can still be extremely helpful, and there are already so many ways to stack and play bodies that the new option is a bit extra.
3. I also like adding a bit more option removal to respect decks like Insectoids and Mirage.

In regards to point number 2, I do think that if you're using the trainings, you are playing a more defensive version of the deck. Versus if you utilize the Metropolican Police Department, Community Safety Bureau, Cyber Crime Division, Investigation Unit 11, Digimon Crime Response Team, you're looking at a much more aggressive variant. Not to say it's the wrong play, I think it's player preference of how aggressive you want to be. Do keep in mind that because the Defense Trainings are Digipolice/Dbrigade trait, that this decreases the likelihood of decreasing playcosts with Tankdramon.
The removal elements however are very valid, considering insectoid can be unaffected by Digimon effects.
I was kind of hoping once you got to the actual namesake card you'd have said "The Metropolitan...whatever, you get the drift", but full commiting to the bit is also respectable. But seriously, this deck looks super fun! For some reason I really like the DigiPolice so I'm excited to use this as a skeleton for exploring it in the upcoming format. I think you have a good point about valuing De-Digivolve very highly and I will trust you know what you're doing if I have to make any changes.
Go hard or go home ha ha. That's one of my mottos. I wouldn't say I know perfectly what's going on as locals and metas can vary from location to location. Generally I foresee Armor being the most played decks which means for Magnamon X you chump block away and for Rapidmon X you de-digivolve.

By all means, make adjustments where you want to be more control or aggressive! Some players may opt for more Satsukis and Numemons. Others might opt for more option cards for security bombs and more.

Very true! I hadn't considered it mainly because when it comes to deck building I typically lean more into a purist ha ha. Vikemon ACE might not be digipolice/d-brigade but that blast digivolution can be equally nasty.
Ive cut the numemons from my list all together. I find them too bricky as they do not get blocker from the drigadramon and sure they can give something rush but so can the inheritable from the older sealsdramon. Plus your Cargodramon and Brigadramon can both play out tamers from their effects. Not to mention the moment you get into a brigadramon the numemon inheritable becomes redundant. It overall to me just takes up space and i think would be better in a numemon dedicated deck rather than a D-brigade one.
I agree with your analysis on this one! While true the blocker can be redundant with Brigadramon and the tamers can be played out by Cargodramon and Brigadramon, the only downside with your other level 4 options is the fact that they cost more than 4. As a result, when you do play play with these cards, it changes your math substantially.
At least with Numemon, you could play Numemon and a level 3 or a level 4 Digimon with Hi-Commandramon and Sealsdramon. However, by not using Numemon you lock out that second potential float.
Don't get me wrong, I love the rush inheritable from Sealsdramon but Digipolice/D-Brigade has always felt like it's not building a stack but going wide.
@@DIGI-PANDA What about the BT16 Mekanorimon? It's a D-Police, has a play cost of 4, blocker, armor purge and upon play you can put 1 of your digimon with d-police trait under it to de-digivolve 1 an opponents digimon. While it can't attack without materials, it seems like a good mechanic to use to slow down the opponent at least.

DCD bomb isn't terrible. Honestly speaking. You could also add Ultimate Flare or even Iron Fist Onslaught if you wanted to. Downside these don't have the Digipolice/Dbrigade Trait.
What do you think of insectoids for meta? Or Imperialdramon? I'd like to see lists and thoughts. Also, great vid XD

Don't have the second vikemon so I might sneak in a quartzmon for the funnies. Do you think this would work ok for a BT17 meta?
Only concern with the Quartzmon is that you're going to be evo'ing off your Brigadramon. I do think Brigadramon is much more important by itself and with insectoids roaming about it's possible that they are unaffected by Digimon effects and will unsuspend.
DeathXmon might be a preferred one of for the Numemon match ups or even options like Ultimate Flare.
Unfortunately the new cards become instantly obsolete with the existence of Magnamon x rapidmon. You can't dedigivolve the rival's stack, and if you go wide they just pull a rapidmon almost for free and erase your board. Or if that isn't enough, a heaven's judgment applied four times.
I found so frustrating when i tried the new build and i couldn't dedigivolve a single thing the entire game
There are a few perception items that I considered with this deck. In the Magnamon X deck, sure they can be unaffected but if you can climb up to Brigadramon you've got a nice beefy blocker or chump blockers that you can constantly spawn. Vikemon ACE supplements this element too.
In the Rapidmon match up, yes, DP reduction does suck but I also argue that it has less protection making the possibility of de-digivolving it that much more likely.
@@DIGI-PANDA The thing is that the deck does not need to choose between rapidmon and magna. They're both yellow, decks usually have both. If you try to get past, they use magna. If you then try to go wide, they use rapidmon and erase your table. And even if they don't have it, they just use Heaven's judgment. You usually don't come back from having your table erased with the rival having a magnamon. Even less if they have magna x rapid, so the game basically ends at that point.
As for the ACE's, i tried to experiment with aces in this deck for a while and i've found them to be completely useless. The theory makes sense; hence why i tried them; but in practice you never have them in hand, because the deck is constantly trashing and then re-decking the digipolice. The aces go to the trash in no time and you never see them again. I think i tried with a couple Gargomons for a couple dozen games and i never use them once. I wouldn't spend 2 slots on a one in a hundred case.
@@kukuruyo5994 All valid points. I think the yellow vaccine variant is the only one in my mind that would completely nullify the many elements of this deck.
Do you think the same applies whether you base ethe deck in Veemon and Terriermon respectively?
@@DIGI-PANDA I haven't test against the terriermon one but being one of the strongest decks in the game already in bt15 and getting new support i just asume it stomps me
The veemon version is more beatable than the vaccine one, but then again they can just play a couple rapidmons or heaven's judgment and using just one of them decides the game

Correct! And the reasoning behind this is Option cards are USED - not PLAYED.
Note the phrasing on BT3 Lilithmon that states" When you USE an Option card, gain 2 memory." and BT6 Beelstarmon's on play effect that says "USE 1 option card with a memory cost of 7 in your hand without paying its memory cost."
@@DIGI-PANDA well yeah i guess those are 2 cards i dont even have so i didnt notice that detail. good to know anyway, thx for the list, its more or less what i was going to play I like your version better, though im not going to use the vikemon yet, i will play instead, one copy of the other darkdramon and since i dont have deathexmon i will try using omnimon swart, just for testing, since it kinds of fit the digipolice play style. because of the summoning 2 digimon from the trash. my idea was for example, evolving darkdramon into omnimon wich gives me 2 more digimon and if those digimon are two cargodramon i can use their play effects and get more digimon, or if i have at least 6 cards on my trash and i happen to have enough memory i can summon 2 of the new sealsdramon and have 2 more digimon to attack, also using his when attackking skill i can get back the darkdramon to my hand wich if its the one with rush can come handy. even if i had to evolve from brigadra, having it back is usefull more if i used omnimon´s skill to summon cargodramon or tankdramon previously also omnimon´s when attacking skill is a good deleter to get rid of anoying digimon that brigadramon or tankdramon or even the dcd bomb ant get rid off, the only real problem is the evolution cost.

Unnfortunately, I do not believe you can get the buff before Rapidmon X's DP reduction takes effect. One ruling that I'll cite that is a similar case is Marcus Damon from BT12. When this tamer (now Digimon) attacks security it has 3000 DP. In the Digimon card game, DP is constantly checked, which means the moment it hits 0, Marcus would be deleted, potentially go to the top of security and no effect activates for it's when attacking effect to digivolve one of your Digimon into a yellow Digimon with Greymon in its name. From this scenario I believe the same occurs with a Commandramon attacking. Before your when attacking effect can trigger, the DP is checked and since you meet Rapidmon X's condition of being 0 DP you are simply deleted.
HOWEVER. On the bright side, if it was BT4 Commandramon and you have Tankdramon as an inheritable, you can now potentially play a Commandramon to de-digivolve the Rapidmon X.
could thise deck also upgrade ouryumon digi-police deck?
I haven't looked into it yet. One disadvantage of the Ouryumon deck is that while you can cheat out Shu Yulin with Ryudamon, having to base the deck in a Kyokyomon for avoiding that 1 cost evo is a tragedy.
Doesn't Rapidmon x antibody make going wide in this format not worth it anymore?
I mean... by all means, please delete my smaller Commandramon and let me spawn a new one that's unsuspended and won't be DP reduced. By all means, let me de-digivolve your Rapidmon X with Tankdramon's effect. Going wide can be tricky, but the de-digivolving aspect is very powerful.

I don't have any deathx they are so expensive. So removal I could maybe run dark roar, or ultimate flare? Maybe running 2 beast cyclone could cause some shenanigans

I do one complete take! While I'm in the recording booth, whenever I flub audio, I snap my fingers to provide a peak for audio editing. Typically, the audio is completed first before the video is edited.
