@DIGI-PANDA I know people are thinking of using EX1 ExVeemon but I've been using structure deck ExVeemon so far. What do you think? Also I haven't been using bt3 DemiVeemon, instead just using bt12
I really like the statement about trying to provide a solid foundation for a deck and leave the viewer to customize it to their tastes. I've seen a recurring thing in TCG circles where someone will insist they want to play something unique, something fresh, something nobody else is doing, they want to stand out, be recognized, be seen as their own individual! And then they'll go to Reddit and ask people "hey, give me a decklist that fits that and also tell me exactly how to play it". People mouth off about creativity all the time, but then when they're actually asked to build a deck on their own merits, they stumble and don't know what to do, because imagine that, being creative is _very hard!_ I'm a tinkerer, I like to take a full complete basic list and figure out the ratios and techs as I go. I appreciate you giving a baseline, playable deck and telling us what is too good to cut and where the vague tech slots are. That way I know how to run the deck and fix it up myself to fit how I want to play. I think it's a great goal!
You're welcome! It's been a conflict where is uploading a deck profile purely because of some spicy tech the goal or is it to educate? Frankly, educating has always been the goal of the channel that moving forward I definitely wanted to lean more this route.
I'm just glad this deck has variants now. Sure, you can play aggro, with a Vmon base, but you can also play some control cards from bt12 , or even switch your base to Wormmon and Minomon, which is also another aggro focused approach, but I'd argue this one's more beneficial. You can even run a build with 4 colors so you can make bt12 fighter mode harder to kill.
Not bad. Kind of want to see the Green and Virus imperial decks. I say green because, with the promos and bt16 worm, we now have a solid base. And, in a few months time, this deck gets updated again
I play imperialdramon with elements from the started deck + BT12, it has the imperialdramon that plays two level 4s, but that effect doesn't seem to be as powerful as the lvl 5 partition from BT16 paildramon (which is also inherited).
Funny story, i have somewhat similar decklist with your's, but switch dragon mode with bt 15 rosemon x, because i still not able to pull bt 16 dragon mode ( even though it was rare ) and dna kimeramon. However it still work wonderfully, be able to stun your opponent tamer is really strong on veemon dna focus deck, and free LV5 with jamming together LV6 blast ace is fun play at local at least my experience. Great video.❤❤❤
The only downside to Megagargomon ACE and Rosemon X is neither is a free trait Digimon, so you lose the abilities of your inheritables for the most part.
something like this should be the default version to start tinkering with : ) if decks like magna x or tyrantkabuteri become too prominent, maybe switching the jamming draw engine for the dp+ engine (bt16 demiveemon, max bt16 veemons, 2x bt16 exveemons, 2x bt12 dinobeemon) might be really useful to break unaffected fields, along with 1-2 giga deaths to wipe tyrant's field
Thank you for the feedback! I agree in that the DP increases might be beneficial for breaking unaffected boards. In regards to Giga Death, it might be harder if your opponent is using Shivamon and locks you from using options :D
I did end up dropping the Megagargomon ACE's for the meme factor and I did end up splitting between ACE and Fighter Mode - with the prevalence of Numemon in the format.
Been testing demiveemon and Exveemon bt16 just because dp buff is pretty cool and to make it easier to delete digimon in battle. Grandkuwagamon ACE is another option instead of megagargomon since it's essier to search and delete an annoying Tamer. Gigadeath I feel is a better pick moving forward cause of ACE cards. Bottom decking is a lot stronger. Lastly Imperialdramon Fighter mode Bt 12 gained a huge buff in combination with new BT16 Paildramon. Bottom decking all suspended Digimon, also funny how now with new colors he gains even more DP with his all turns.
it reminded me of talking to a friend about the group of 02, so he said the following: the new digi chosen are horrible, if it weren't for ken, I would have given up watching because there are 21 pure filer episodes to go to the bad pirated jessi and james. but he loves every moment of the former chosen and blackwargreymon
Honestly playing megagargo is not good especially if you're sitting on a bt16 dm and no FM in hand. Also the bt16 meta is DP IS KING the egg lets us be bigger then maganmon X on the following turn if you went into bt12 FM. Playing a split between bt12 and st9 paildramon is also a very good idea since theyre both extremely versatile.
While is it searchable, I can agree that Megagargomon ACE might not necessarily be the play. In preliminary testing it's been more of a defensive option if I need as a blocker. Consider it also doubles as a double attacker, it had its moment. I do concede because it isn't free that it does get prone to bottom decked. I talked about the different substitutions and how each can be used in a scenario. You may lean more control than aggro! For my particular build I definitely enjoyed aggro more than control.
@@DIGI-PANDA i wouldnt call the version i play a control type deck more a midrange toolbox deck, where you utilise the different FMs depending on the matchup. Ace for the one digimon big stack decks. Bt12 FM for swarming decks and hell bt12 FM into Magna X. Even if we just need to remove one big thing bt12 can also do that. The same goes for the lvl 5. Obviously you wanna go into bt16 paildramon cause who doesnt wanna mini quartzmon their opponent, but yeah bt12 paildramon is a good card that has come in clutch alot of times for me. Also something like giga death is also a rather good card to run against decks like tyrant.
It's possible! I think the problem is with Davis and Ken, this lets you play Wormmon or Veemon for free at THE BEGINNING of your turn. Versus Promo Davis who only gets it on play. This means in some ways you're reliant on promoting instead of just start of your turn to start shenanigans. Because you could play Veemon or Wormmon - search, then digivolve (considering your opponent has to put you to at least one memory to pass turn), then you get to retain turn before slamming down the other level 4 to DNA with the inheritable end of turns.
Can you please explain the davis + ken tamer further? I thought the veemon/wormmon that was played and then digivolves into paildramon. After opponents turn, paildramon returns to your hand and digivolvution cards are trashed.
This isn't correct. When you play a Veemon or Wormmon from the Davis and Ken effect, it's that SPECIFIC Digimon that is affected. However, when you DNA Digivolve with that Digimon, it becomes a new Digimon and resets all effects associated with it. So if it was a Digimon that was stunned via effect and prevented from suspended, that effect would not carry over. DNA digivolution in the Digimon card game is one way to not only remove effects placed on your Digimon, but also gives it the ability to attack the same turn and also reuse all your inheritables.
Dude pls,all the decklist are the same haha pls try going 3-4 trainings, they are insane even if u have 10 green targets that you cant get, evolving for free to lvl 4 is insane for better plays ,you use the Promo veemon evolve for 1 into stingmon and the other with training exveemon/magnamon,try it pal
While true, I felt that if you do go this route, Wormmon and Stingmon in raise can potentially turn off your blue color if you don't have the tamer in play. No matter which way you go, you're going to lose the ability to play the training option if you're not in the right color in the raise.
This is exactly why I don't run trainings. If you have to go with unoptimal evolutions trainings could really get in the way Or worse bottom deck a needed piece because of trainings.
At 3:22 of the video, I mistakenly had ST9 Exveemon instead of EX1. It should be 100% EX1 Exveemon!
Quick question if you use Invincible Fusion with bt-12 Exveemon and/or Stingmon do you get the memory boost by DNA?
@@adu0nganime yep
No cap, Imperialdramon is super flexible, I've seen blue and green builds for the deck and I'm so happy about it.
For sure! I think it's a very flexible way to build it and it's going to depend on predominantly your local meta.
@DIGI-PANDA I know people are thinking of using EX1 ExVeemon but I've been using structure deck ExVeemon so far. What do you think? Also I haven't been using bt3 DemiVeemon, instead just using bt12

My only gripe is the lack of parity between Wormmon and Veemon. Wormmon deserves some semblance of equality.
Insectoid decks in general haven't gotten too much. While yes, there's Grandis from BT9.. it never felt like Herculeskabuterimon could take off.
I think the new BT-16 Wormmon is pretty solid. Digivolving from trash could be great, and I could see him as a one-of
Wormmon is my favorite digimon, and I'm so happy to finally make an all Wormmon Imperial build that is actually competitive!
Now the question - green or red/purple?
I'm just glad this deck has variants now. I feel Wormmon also provides some more defensive measures with the suspensions and tempo control. I haven't looked into it much though!
It's funny, imperiodramon says get out of here to magnamon, it's like a king ordering his cousin to leave the castle
I had my friend walk into an ACE Fighter Mode when he played Magnamon. Probably most hilarious moment of testing I've had so far.
Terriermon has a friendship with the magna side.
Not bad.

I think with the new Imperialdramon: Fighter Mode Ace makes the deck better along with Davis Motomiya & Ken Ichijoji. Time to Open the Digital Gate!
Combine your powers as one Davis and Ken!
I'm definitely going to use the BT12 Fighter Mode. You're basically guaranteed the DP boost and SEC +1
I feel the ACE does provide some counter measure defensively but it is also great on the offense.
PSA: the ACE I'd advise at 2 and play 1 BT12 Fighter Mode due to it basically being a Blast Evo due to Dragon Mode
I did end up dropping the Megagargomon ACE's for the meme factor and I did end up splitting between ACE and Fighter Mode - with the prevalence of Numemon in the format.
One of the purple/red version :D that's the one I'm going to update but I'm arguing on some things that is not convince me.
I may test the virus Imperial variant - see if it's more viable this time around.
3:22 You showed the ST9 Exveemon in the decklist in the background, when I think you meant the EX1 version.
Welp. Missed that when I was producing this video. Yes it should be the EX1 version! Not the ST9 variant.

The BT16 DinoBee is really good, let's just hope the support from liberator is good to make the deck worth running.
It's lot of fun on paper, but Ace digimon and Magnamon X make it really hard to make meaningful plays, even when your set-up is perfect
Dinobee has a lot of application! Not in just Imperial but also Fenriloogamon as well!
