Welcome back for Part Two of our brewery tour across Alexandra Headland and Mooloolaba in Queensland. Previously we took a tour across 10 Toes brewery in Alexandra Headland and today we’re heading to Moolooaba’s Worst Kept Secret, Blackflag Brewing.
Hidden down a back alley on Brisbane Road, Blackflag is known for its range of craft beers and its distinctive branding, often attracting beer enthusiasts looking for unique and locally brewed experience. And this is it, this is home to one of our favourite Ginger beers, you’ve seen it a number of times in our videos, this is the company that developed The Diablo Ginger Beer.
With two locations in Mooloolaba and Coolum, you can book a tour ahead with their recommendation of starting at Taps Mooloolaba, heading up to the Blackflag in Coolum and finishing the afternoon at the Blackflag Mooloolaba.
Like many breweries in the region, Blackflag Brewery offers a relaxed atmosphere where visitors can enjoy tastings and events depending on the season. If you're in the area and enjoy craft beer, it's definitely worth checking out!
