There are several good bands in here, in addition to Tachibana. However I especially liked the clearly non-competitive band which had all ages. The little girl playing the trombone especially impressed me. I am not sure how she did it , but it looked like she hit sixth or sseventh position with those little arms. It like there might even possibly be one or two mother child combos in there. I hate to say it, but the one band, though clearly not one of the best, put more life into the Marine Hymn than most Marine Bands, which seem overly stiff.
