🤠 The land that has a paddle boat, country 🐻bears, BTM & soon Tiana LOL! People don't realize that in DLP the Lion King show takes place in the wilds of "Frontierland" so Disney has shown they put things where THEY want, not necessarily where is "should" or makes sense to go. Either way, we're all still gonna get wet!⛰ I spend a lot of time in this land! Thx 4💜
Haha yep that’s very true, especially nowadays. Things will go wherever they want it to go. Like MMRR at the Studios. That ride made perfect sense to go inside Animation Courtyard, but they intentionally put it in the Chinese Theater because they wanted The Great Movie Ride gone(this is just my opinion, but I’m sure I’m right lol). Such a great part of the park! It’ll definitely be lacking when Splash closes. Hopefully they do a good job with the retheming! And I love the walkway next to the water, you get such great views from it. Thank you!
06:35 The Lightning Lane for Splash Mountain. Wow! 07:29The guy in the black shirt says it all. He's thinking, "And I paid for this." LOL! According to what a cast member told me on our last trip, the Lightning Lane is making the standby lanes even longer. It happened to us when we were there in a less busy January. Thanks for the video. Frontierland has always been my favorite.
Haha yes, I rarely see the Lightning Lane for Splash that long! I think it was because BTM was down, so everyone who had a LL for that went over to use it on Splash. It definitely makes the standby line much longer for sure. I personally only use it when filming a bunch of rides for the videos but other than that, I never purchase it. I could see Disney possibly retheming the Adventureland side of Pecos Bill because there is a lot of Spanish architecture mixed in with the New Orleans style or the courtyard into a Bayou area (Florida is full of Spanish moss for the trees..lol )and would a love beignet stand or shop nearby. Fantastic walkthru 4K
I would be down with that! I do believe areas like that will get rethemed eventually. A new beignet stand when Tiana takes over Splash will be a welcomed addition for sure! Thank you so much Andrew 😃
Right out of the gate, the shooting gallery takes me back to endless hours at the Fiesta Fun Center. The riverboat whistle is a calming force, along side the music of the 19th Century in the air. Those screams coming from the log flumes I feel should be piped into the Haunted Mansion 😱. All in all, a great tour of all the nooks and crannies that most people don’t pay attention to. Well done again 4K! 🍿🍿🍿
Always love the strolls through the lands…just the atmosphere (visuals, music, etc.). I find myself people-watching on your videos too (like I do when in the parks). Thank you for sharing your talent with us in producing such great content!!
I truly do appreciate that Rick! I also enjoy people watching at the parks all the time! It’s honestly the most enjoyable at the Magic Kingdom, because the most interesting stuff seems to always happen there lol. Thanks so much as always 😃
Really looking forward to what is most likely my last time riding Splash Mountain next week. Although, like many, I’m 100% against the ride being updated, I am looking forward to seeing what they have in store for this new Tiana ride.
Yes, I’m sure the new version of the ride will be just as fun as Splash is. I’m just hoping there will still be a substantial amount of animatronics, but I’m not confident in that unfortunately
