I've been using the Hero for the past month while working from home and honestly can't emphasize enough how great it is. One week in my normal chair - which was a dedicated pc chair - my back was in agony... Using the Hero as not only sorted that out within a day or so, using it for 12 hours a day has been nothing but bliss.
It's very rare that I comment on videos, but this review was absolutely brilliant. You were thorough, explained everything perfectly and gave excellent demonstrations. You've answered every question I had about the Hero in the one video. Thanks for taking the time to make this :)
How well/long do you think the Lumbar Support mechanism will last? Do you think it is a very high quality piece that wont break in 3-4 years time? This is my only deciding factor if I will get the Hero or the ICON. Other than the style of the chair, the price between the two is about 140 dollar. I personally think the Hero looks a bit nicer, but is the extra 140 dollars worth the lumbar support?
The big problem with Noblechairs is that the seat base is permanently tilted slightly backwards, which means the front of the (very firm) seat base digs into the back of your thighs, and you can't plant your feet on the ground properly. At least if you're six feet or below. There's no way to tilt the seat base forward to make it parallell with the floor. Also, the built in lumbar support is not vertically adjustable. The included pillows are complete garbage, and don't even fit the Hero. They're designed for the Epic. The Secretlab Titan Evo 22/23 does not have any of these problems, which is why it will soon replace my Hero Black Edition.
I have basicly the same one as in the review and i am 187 and 30-40 kg more than you and it is fine minus one thing that the headrest have no proper place on model if you are not like 195cm + however its a minor detail.
@@PowerSenpai well my english is not super good so what i meant is that it is likely to lagre for you yes and i compered it to how it fits me and i am lagerer than you in size to give you and image the problem whit the head rest. this chair is made for medium + sized person that are 175 cm + however not a heavy person since it cant support my weight more than 2 hours at time properly
I can’t decide between the Hero Black Edition and the normal one.. is the black edition really that much more comfortable? And does it really breathe more than the normal ones?
The chair i want to get. There is a store here that sella open box or returned, they call it B grade, items at diacounted prices, and they discount it alot, wich is good. Im fine with that as long as it doesnt have any visual wear and there is still warranty. The only thing that worries me is if the gas lift will fail sooner, but they sell replacement gas lifts. Long ago i was thinking about getting the white epic one because it looked so good, the secretlabs titan looks great too, but thia one, again, i can get cheap and has the adjustable lumbar support, should be better than those pillows.
I can't make an decision for this Hybrid material or the Real Leather one. Obvisouly the Napa Leather would be the best choice but it's double the orice so kinda out of my budget. How durable is the Hybrid comapared to the Real Leather, does it attract more dust and how do they compare on feel alone?
I'm really not sure if I should choose the hero in black/white or the black edition. When it comes to design the black edition seems like a little bit "boring". The other question is, is the comfort of the black edition worth it?
So the new black edition has the exact same foam in the seat? I now have the standard hero, but I find it allittle to hard, will the black edition be softer to sit at?
Would you recommend this to someone that is 6'4 and 140 kg? Also at 6:56, you got an icon with 'add to basket'. In my case it is 'Where to buy?' Why can't I directly buy from there website?
I've just placed deposit on this chair to be delivered next week, I've decided on this due to my thick thighs so I'm mainly worried about wiggle space since I usually game while curled up (plus I like the design), hopefully this is the chair for me fingers crossed
Wonder how long this will take to come to Australia stores with whats going on... How does this compare to Nappa leather? Been looking at an Icon with nappa, but its expensive to buy without trying. Thanks!
@@benover17 well mine comes in today, its just what i heard. And i can't really compare it to a secretlab titan because i have a 80 euro 7 year old chair right now.
I've been thinking of buying either this or the Icon (both black edition), but I cannot seem to find any (english) Icon Black Edition review, are you thinking of making one? I cannot decide which one should I get.
Great video and looking for some advice - I am 5'8, 75kg's and smallish build, so would you recommend the hero or icon? Do you feel the new black edition material will take all the knocks etc?
Great review, thanks. Do you find the Black Edition to be a tad "boring" to look at compare to the other version (in black)? Its really hard to get a feeling for that without seeing it IRL. The Black Edition looks almost grey rather than black but that could be my monitor also. Unless you really care about the "vegan" stuff, and advantages the Leather ones besides price? BTW; I think you have linked to the wrong review in the description, it seem to link to itself :)
you're sitting on it, not looking at it. priority should be comfort, durability and adjustability. pointless having the coolest chair in the world if it's uncomfortable.
@@ph4tboy Would you say that it does not matter how a car looks if it works and you can drive with it? Most people, including me, would probably say that design is important, but YMMV of course.

Bit late but I've heard secretlabs sucks for customer support which considering a lot of these chairs seem to have parts fail figured would be important too.

Are u still happy with it? Do you had any issues? Some reviews say that the seat cushion will crack over time . Do you have the black edition?
Isn't it hard to sit on?

Can you lock the Chair in an aggressively forward leaned Position like shown at 3:30?
THX for you answer.
No you can't it lock in a 90 degrees, it does go further down but doesn't lock in

After how long will this material start to peel off in a country with hot tropical climate?

With the regular edition the lumbar and neck pillows are included so I would assume that it is the same with this model as well.
They're both included, but aren't memory foam so goes straight to the bin and then You order the memory foam versions :P
