How thick of wood did you use and how long did it take to cut the monogram? I’m thinking about one of these machines. I’m sure I’ll be impressed since the only experience I have is from my Xtool diode 20W. 😂 I don’t get much production in a day.
I’d go with Aeon due to being all built into one and no external components on the floor as well as I find the engraves are better. But thunder is a great machine as well.

@@thatlaserdude Thanks! I’m debating on using separate sheds for my CO2 and fiber or building a shop with a separate room for each. I also do metal, primarily firepits with my plasma, which complicates things as well, so I definitely keep that operation separate. Currently CO2 & Plasma are in dedicated 3 car garage. Fiber in separate room in house. 🤦♂️

Just aligned my mirrors and im ready to make my first cut. Do I always have to have my computer hooked up by usb to the laser?

Great tutorial! I've got the Mira 5 coming in May and am looking forward to a faster, better machine. Now, just need to figure out where to put it :)

It used to be my garage. It's 35 x 25. I winterized it and it's not just my shop
