this is an easy cheese stratergy to kill the fire giant in elden ring with the swarm of flies incantation
this incantation its very cheap to cast fast to cast and can kick in bleed that can do massive damage while you can remain at a safe distance and avoid taking damage using the bloodhounss step ash of war
the stats required for this stratergy are just 11 faith and 20 arcane and then whatever other stats you want eg vigor mind etc

Hey thanks! This worked very well and using the mimic with just SOF really made this move pretty quick
I find it difficult to use the Swarm of Flies as it didn't bleed as much, so I reverted back to my usual Rock Sling + Tiche and added Bloodhound's Step (mine's a mage built). And OMG the Step made such a big difference in avoiding his attacks. Once into phase 2 it was a lot easier as he was busy shooting the slow fireballs and I had ample time to Rock Sling him and finally beat him. Thank you very much for the excellent tips. 👍
Swarm scales with faith and arcane according to my knowledge. So pump that up and bleed should hit harder
@@fitmcdeezy8778 Yeah mine is an intelligent build so not a lot of points go to faith and arcane. But that's ok since magic could get the job done

had a crazy time getting all the bits you suggested here but i did it. now i have to grind 3 levels to use swarm. good vids on how to do it all
Thank you sir!!! I could not get his health down more than a 1/3rd in the first phase. I couldn’t get him down to the second phase with the flies but got there with rock sling and Alexander keeping his agro. Second phase I used the flies and finished him.

Hey B Man, I used your strategy for the swarm of flies couldn't quite get it, used torrent and rivers of blood katana and my mimic in the first stage and for the second stage just spammed swarm of flies and he went down super fast. Thanks again for this great guide.
Actually if you use the swarm of flies on the GodSkin Duo it does alot of bleed damage aswell

There's also a pretty easy bow method like mohgs. He doesn't hit you at all.
As a mage, I ran in and dodged the snow sweep with Bloodhound's step, then rolled toward him on his second attack and glintstone comet his foot a few times, then hop on my horse and chase him for second phase, get off my horse under his crotch, glintstone comet his foot a few times again, repeat get under his crotch, glintstone comet. When he's at 50% and cutscenes, I hop on my horse, run to his crotch, get off, then spam flies. When he runs away at 10-15% I got on my horse again, went under his crotch and spammed flies again. It's all about being under his crotch. That's the safest place.
Im using crozier + giant crusher ez to take his foot but when he throws fire is another level sheeesh.

Thank you for the guide even tho it didn’t work cause the nerf everything and take glitches out I normally wouldn’t look for glitches with most bosses but this is one of the most hardest bosses there is and he technically isn’t even a boss it annoys me in a way because this is my first dark souls game and I see why I kinda stayed away from the other ones now but I appreciate what you did even tho it didn’t work
I used mimic to just take him to phase 2 normally with my sword then the mimic was the good distraction to use the flies with, took me 2 tries

I've been using the swarm since getting them, and they scale really well and do a lot of bleed damage
I knew I wasn't tripping when I went into a arcane build they did more damage aleast it seemed
I had to do a rebirth for this but thank god finally beat him
So I need to make a whole different build to kill one boss

Been tryin g for HOURS with no luck. My problem is the animation for the SoF cast takes so long that I don't have time to dodge (step) in time. Any advice? I try not to cast when he is about to attack, but inevitably he starts an attack just as I am casting and DEAD. TY

Yes but with his health it slow .. and you have to apply it a 2nd time in the 2nd form ..
Swarm of flies is definatly the best for 2nd form can use rot for 1st form if you struggle

The damage from bleed doesn't seem to be much for me plus often they don't seem to reach him when I'm closer then your example.

this is a no skill method ... if this is too hard maybe play minecraft .... you can literaly spam bloodhound step and be praticaly invincible you clearly have not used bloodhounds step

@@BManOfficialTH-camChannel i actually got mixed up between your two videos and someone elses I had a couple open at the time, I was originally watching the one with god slayer sword started out doing that and was struggling. Then went back to watch again and started watching your other one and I was like oh damn doing it wrong. I didnt see the patxhed in the title until i closed all vids down and reopened them again. As i had them all open in various spots 🤣

@@BManOfficialTH-camChannel thats coz im struggling on that dude. He is the only one I have struggled to fight so far he keeps chaning up his attacks. The bloodstep hound tip you gave tho was amazing! but i still cant get the second phase skip. I just did it then thought this it, got him to half health put the bleed on him sent him in to second phase. Loaded in sent out about 400 flies i was so close and i watched them hit and nope didnt put him on bleed..So I started to fight him on the second phase got him down to prob one last combo of hits and he got me hahahah the guys a douche lol
@@dull8ird639 if you have rot breath ... have seal in left hand and step on right hand to avoid damage ... apply rot then run away while he rots .. you should get to 2nd phase easy that way then repeat for 2nd phase ... give that a go

Mage here - SoF didn't work for me, I died so so many times, I found him the hardest boss yet. I went with Rock Sling and summon (Tiche), aiming for the leg to stagger him a few times and eventually entered the 2nd stage. Rock Sling then quickly finishes him off in the 2nd stage! The Bloodhound Step really helps though 😊

No, just no.. It doesn't work, tried 10 times, with perfect timing. And you say phase 2 is even easier? Mate, phase 2 with swarm of flies doesn't work anymore. Mimic tear plus Rock sling ftw!
