I love walking around nature, climbing around boulders, rocks hopping, ascending hills and was looking for right location to start my Trekking Journey. Gudibande Fort near Chikkaballapur Karnataka has awesome reviews and we had one day trip to this location and truely surrendered to its beauty and truely top location for one to start their trekking journey and must visit place near bangalore.
About Gudibande Fort,
This Fort is located around 30Kms from Chikkaballapura and 92kms from Bangalore with excellent road connectivity and it is must weekend destination wihin 100kms from Bangalore. We recommend this place for someone who is looking for one day moderate Trekking/Hiking/Hill Climbing and top place for someone to test their Photography Skills

TAKE AWAY:-
▶ ROUTE & ROAD CONDITION - We took the route of Bangalore International Airport Road~Devanahalli~Chikkaballapura by pass~ Took Left deviation at Peresandra Village and travelled 15kms to reach Gudibande Fort | Overall 221 kms covered and Road condition is excellent as it is national highway and around 2 to 3 kms country side roads strech were under construction
▶TREKKING - Started at 12PM and completed by 3PM | around 600 Steps at some places we need to hike as their were no roads | Animal and Plant life were booming due to moonsoon season and traversing repitiles was amazing experience | We ran out of water and recommend carrying sufficient water bottles, caps, sun glasses
▶ GUDIBANDE TIMEOUT - Took time to understand its history, Understood 7 layers of Fort wall formation, Visited Rameshwar temple on top, spend quality time on top traversing the rocky formation | Covered all 4 direction of the Hill top getting bird eye view on all directions of Gudibande town, Lakes and nearby hills | Took some Amazing Photography/Videography/Dancogrophy for our Social media handles.
