- When was the last time you watched The Avengers (2012)? There are so many hidden references to future MCU movies, Phase 2 and 3! Black Widow, Thor, Captain America, Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk team up for the first time to fight the Asgardian Loki and the mind controlled Hawkeye to save the world. With the power of the Tesseract, or Space Stone, and the Mind Stone, Loki is able to invade New York City with Thanos’ Chitauri army. Can Nick Fury, Coulson, SHIELD, and the Avengers save the day? Yes, they can. Cause we’ve all probably seen this movie. But there are still plenty of awesome easter eggs that will blow your mind on the rewatch. While the Winter Soldier costume is awesome, I personally like the Age Of Ultron costume more. It keeps the look of the classic costume while also being super practical and realistic.

For me, Cap's outfit in Civil War is my favorite. Its the culmination of every other outfit and I think it fits him well. it also doesnt look like his head is being squeezed.

Every cap suit just keeps getting better except for maybe Infinity War. Although, that's technically the Nomad so I guess it doesn't count. Civil War suit would be the best one then. The darker blue and Avengers logo looks great.

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. I'm surprised anyone could get the impression it were a memory.
It makes sense that Cap's suit is the most comic-like because Coulson was a HUGE Cap fan. In those days they saw his movies with the Winged Helmet and not his combat Suit from First Avenger.
We know that Cap liked his suit more Soldier oriented.
A113 isn't a Pixar nod. It is used in plenty of non-Pixar films. Pixar just popularized it. The first use of it was in the short animated film Family Dog on Amazing Stories in 1987 and was directed by Brad Bird. The short would later become the series Family Dog (1993) and would be produced by Tim Burton. The Brave Little Toaster (1987) would be the first Disney movie to use the A113. Here are some other movies that used it... Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol (2011), The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013), The Iron Giant (1999), Terminator Salvation (2009), and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014).

Favorite cap suit is his 1940s, Howard Stark designed suit or Winter Soldier suit. In my opinion the first avenger suit represents the American dream and the purity cap represents and the winter soldier suit shows the darker and less honorable methods used today. That's just how I see it based on the movie's' messages on government and the color scheme of the suits.
A-113 is not only in Pixar movies. It’s in all sorts of animation because it references a classroom at the California Institute of the Arts where many animators studied. :)

I like to think Selvig's line about the Tesseract "behaving" is a nod to cosmic cubes in the comics being sentient.

Regarding the Mephisto Easter egg. I found the entire paragraph online: “A Cube would eventually develop its own intelligence, commonly influenced by the beings who had manipulated it. Mephisto has postulated that the Cubes are hosts to a semi-sentient will and that, even in Cube form, they can choose how they want to be used, and deny certain wishes. Mephisto also has proposed that a billion-sentient universally-linked will could overcome this problem, and that the Cubes could be as powerful as the Infinity Gems.”

Go back and watch the scene where they are arguing in front of Loki's scepter and watch how it looks like Tony Stark realized something manipulating his mind. Which was the Mind Stone in the scepter.
This is my favourite Cap’s suit, actually this movie had the best costumes of any MCU movie in my opinion.

Nice Easter egg rundown, but A113 isn’t a nod to Pixar specifically... its a reference to room A113 where many people learned the ins and outs of CGI and graphic design. This is referenced in many video games as well due to many of the artists/game designers taking classes in that room. I’m not sure of all of the history, but I thought I’d steer you in the right direction if someone else in the comments hadn’t beaten me to it. 👍🏻

Nope. It took me so long to figure out it was called Avengers Assemble elsewhere.
Also a number of 1984 references such as loki saying that you can only achieve freedom once you realise that freedom is a lie, "freedom is slavery". Also loki refers to the helicarrier as a floating fortress

A113 isn't just a Pixar reference. The number shows up in Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and in some Simpson episodes. It's the classroom number at the California Institute of the Arts where many graphic designers and animators went to. The animators who later went to Pixar include this as in inside joke.

There is a scene in the First Avenger, where Cap is reading the bible, pre his testing. So the line: "There's only one god, and he doesn't dress like that." Is accurate.
Funny thing about the second post credit scene they added it so late the actor for captain America was already started on another roll and had a beard growing which is why the entire scene he was covering part of his face
when the quinjet containing lokis goons and hawkeye is approaching the helicarrier, the pilot requests landing permission and says that he is hauling weapons and ammo... a nod to return of the jedi with luke, han solo, and leia requesting landing permission on the forest moon of endor

You missed one more pop culture reference. When Stark is working with Banner he says what Steve Rogers has got is an "Acme Dynamic Kit". Which is an obvious reference to a product manufactured by Acme in WB's Looney Tunes. Ironically Marvel studios was sold to Disney later who turns out to be WB's rival. And also it was pretty ironic that Marvel movie made a reference to WB when WB is like an ally to their rival DC Comics.
