0:35 he explains that it is necessary to crisscross the bottoms. Good explanation of using the straps and choose the appropriate hole in the straps depending un the height of the person, and possible the length of the object.
Hey, it worked. I have some of these straps & my 'moving buddy' just doesn't want to use them. I don't care if they are criss crossed, I just want to make it easy and not hurt anything.
the crisscross makes it easier and makes the load more stable. With the cross, you and the other person are pulled more tightly to the middle, and your legs do even more of the work.
Some guy commented to never criss cross.. Wow lol if you go length ways or not criss cross the appliance could either lean or fall on you or the straps will slip off...... Clearly he has not used it enough. Picture a tall ass piece of furni taller then you, and imagine not criss crossing it, when going down stairs it'll either lean on you or just tilt right past you and down the stairs
frist off all you never cross the straps. both straps go under the washer, dryer ,fridge.l have been using forearm for a long time.lf you use the straps like the video. you will be in a world of hurt.no one doing del.for sears, home depot, will ever work like this.

Great demo. Just bought these and now I know how to use them. Thanks!

Could I use these to move a 185 pound rear projection large TV?
awesome they save your back a bunch
You should be using the proper strap height for the appliance, not for your height.
correct. It really has nothing to do with person's height more a function of object size+height of person.

@MrAlemanization Looked pretty legit to me.
but it's not any good on steps
Works on steps just fine.
to the guy saying not to cross them, you need to in some circumstances! and again these are worthless on steps
here's a novel idea..".REMOVE THE HOSES "!!!!
HAHAHAH EXACTLY! would take 1 person too.
that is so not the way to use these. 3:07 to put an old washer on a truck.
Terrible filming. U don’t explain the crisscross and u don’t show how u removed the straps. :(
obviously this guys have no fricking clue to how to use these straps
They don’t know shit
I would have just bought a dolly
get a damn dolly
U cant throw everything on a two wheeler man
Very bad idea. When you slip you will have no time to unleashe the bands. The washer will fall on top of you. Do not use this method.
A washer can be moved by a single person. If two people can't handle a single washer, then there is a problem.
Everything these guys did was wrong. LMAO. I mean.. it worked.. but it was completely wrong.
