The 3rd concerto is just so gorgeous. I started from the 2nd but grew to love the 3rd more
same for me. 3rd concerto seems a lot more complete where even the second movement can match the first movement in terms of grandeur. However, the opening in Rach 2 will always be the best for all that of classical music (ending is also great but it's incomparable in my opinion). Nothing comes close to this marvel... well maybe you can make an argument for Tchaikovsky's piano concerto 1
The first piece will always remain my favourite. 10/10

The creepiest ones are Little Red Riding Hood, Op. 39 and Isle of the Dead, Op. 29.
I realised for my self, that earlier Rachmaninov's oeuvre is more conscious and deep, than his late period.
It's my opinion.

Vocalise is for violin and piano accompaniment. So the melody line would not be played by the piano. There is however several arrangements for piano solo. This would not be playable by piano solo

To me, I think all Rachmanioff's are mostly scary and creepy.
Repent and trust in Jesus. we deserve Hell for our sins. For our sin we deserve death and Hell, but there is a way out. Repent anf trust in Jesus and you will be saved. Repentence is turning from sin. So repent and trust in Jesus.
