If you want headphones for bass specifically. The skullcandy crusher Bluetooth is by far the best bass you've ever heard. It has haptic motors in the cups, they seem to be tuned to match bass frequencies so it feels like you have subwoofers on your head. I wish more companies with experiment with a similar setup. Unfortunately they are not audiophile headphones but for straight bass they are incredible. I currently use the sundara as my main cans and moondrop Kato for iems.
From what I've found in reviews recently that the hifiman edition xs is similar to the sundara but has notably better bass and slightly warmer. I'm probably going to get a pair of them because I love the sundara but wish they had better bass.

i reviewed the xs and compared to sundara, i found the sundara bass to be more dynamic, i dunno maybe it was my copy but that was my experience

I'm running the AKG K712 Pro with their own dedicated DAC/Amp on PC for gaming and music, and HiFiMan Sundara's with their own dedicated DAC/Amp on my PS5 just for gaming. Both sound great with their respective setup and both have a great soundstage. I prefer the AKG on PC as the Sundara's definitely needed bass boost for any FLAC music I tried. They don't, however, need any bass boost on the PS5 and surprisingly impressed me on their low end finally. Maybe they finally broke in. I also ordered a custom (paracord sleeved) 15 foot cable for the Sundara's to match the length of my PSVR2 cable. They also fit perfectly over the PSVR2.

      yeah sundara is pretty good!

@@ryanhostudio I also recently discovered my sample rate in Widows has been set incorrectly for the last 7 years for my DAC/Amp (24/48 default instead of 24/96) so maybe the Sundara's would have sounded better there....but I got them exclusively for the PS5, and they sound fantastic in Callisto Protocol.

@@nated5355 To the human ear, there's no difference between 48 and 94.

@@tristanting6323 During a YT review of my DAC/Amp it was noted by the reviewer that there was a slight noisefloor at high volumes. The owner of the company pointed out in a pinned comment that the windows default causes this issue and is corrected (no noisefloor) when set at 24/96000 bit.

The FIFINE are an excellent headphone for the price. I use them mostly when Recording music and tracking Guitar parts. They are just as good as much more expensive HP's I've used for Tracking/Recording. I'm sure they would also be good for podcasting, gaming and just listening to music too. Definitely a bargain and huge value at $35 bucks. Nice comparison's 👍

wow you already had one? I just discovered them I even ask them to send me one to review since it looked like a solid headphone and was very impressed once i received it

@@ryanhostudio Yeah I got them in Mid October. They've only been out a few months I think. For $35 Bucks it's a great value. 50MM Driver, Very lightweight and comfortable which is nice for doing longer sessions. And two detachable cables 3.5 and 6.35 for connecting to whatever you are using. Total Home Run for $35 bucks

@@JTB-- they built like my favorite hyperx headphones almost exactly same headband and yokes but for $35. Build quality is good puts to shame some more expensive headphones

Hmmmm… 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 I’ll add the Philips Fidelio X1S or X2HR. The X1S is really underrated and unknown to many, there may still be a few pairs available as brand new from old stocks of sellers. Yes, 6XX, Sundara is great at this price bracket. As for your list of DAC amps, I’ll add iFi Zen DAC V2, maybe the Gryphon too?

Is it just me? That this guy's voice is like Autotuned Darth Vader. Or is my 6000bucks Hifiman Susvara that i am using is acting weird?

    • @NLspartan117

overall there's more melody in his voice but the moments he talks relatively monotone he definitely sounds like autotuned Darth Vader indeed lol
